“PCH / Palolo has a 2 story older wing, a one story new wing shaped like a rectangle, and an administration building that seems to be empty most of the time. The entire facility has an interesting history contained in their archives, including a Kapiolani Community College term paper under my real name done around 2013. “One of my favorite spots in NYC. The dry pot bowl offers the perfect comfort food. I usually add extra extra fish because they deep fry it before mixing with the stirfry. I can just eat the fish only everyday. In fact, their fish fillet with chili pepper is exactly that. Spice level 80 is perfect for me. 100 can sometimes interfere with my enjoyment of the meal. My husband and I went here almost every week during the pandemic to order our takeout bowl, sometimes we'd just eat in the car. And ever since they reopened for dine-in we've been there too. Price is reasonable. Usually a bowl for 2 is around $50. We go crazy often and end up spending $60-70 which means we'd be rolling out those days. Rice refills are free.”

“Domino's has been checking almost all of the boxes recently. Our pizza had some kind of butter on the crust, the garlic bites were amazing. Quick delivery with a polite driver. The only criticism I could think of is the topping placement and volume of ingredients is off. A pepperoni pizza with mushrooms resulted in 1 tiny piece of mushroom on each slice. The pepperonis low volume but stacked 3-4 high. That would be fine but with the stack being so thick the pizza was a little undercooked. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't delicious. Even better the second day. Domino's is definetly underrated for how good they are.”
