“This home is very well preserved and great to see. There are guided tours but only every half hour so if you don't plan your trip well, you can end up having some time to kill. They have a tour on slavery which was very powerful but also a tour on the Constitution but these are only available once a day. Everyone who is able should see this at some point. It is a powerful building and you learn much about Madison and the time in which he lived.”

“Had the deck rented out for a birthday party. Great spot for a party just need to make sure guests don't park in trailer parking. Also, expect people who think they don't need to follow the private event sign, you'll need to tell them to leave the deck.”

We were complemented by so many guest that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. The Host of the Manor Karen is a fantastic person to work with, she was quick to respond to my questions and made herself available to us throughout our entire planning process. The grounds are kept so beautiful. I would highly recommend using this location for your special day!”

“The 30 to 60 Minutes you spend here you will remember the rest of your life. The riparian area in which the sculptures are located is serene...unusual to find in Suburban settings. The stone carved sculptures in this collection depict life stages and experiences both joyful and tragic. You will want to stand near the sculptures to feel the energy emanating from them. Also feel free to touch them as the textures change dramatically based on the type of stone used and the finishes each sculpture shows. You may choose to do only one-third of the collection per visit because you will want to linger and reflect.”
