“The staff here are very pleasant and knowledgeable. My girls enjoyed the mill tour and especially the gold panning and gem find. Great for families, but I feel it's more appropriate for older kids as the tour is somewhat long and detailed, and not stroller-friendly. Wasn't too busy when we went on a Thursday afternoon. I'd say the pricing is okay, less than $100 for our family of 5.”

“This nature park is a great place to get outside, walk, hike, bike and see our natural wildlife up close. We didn't see any large alligators this visit but we did see four small baby alligators and a few beautiful herons. I love this place & it's free!”

“I grew up in scituate, and I must say, if there is ever a need, to know and learn and obscure amount of information about not only the plant "moss". But also the old art if "mossing" then this is the place! It also works as a great punishment alternative for your kids. They think the Smithsonian or natural history museums are boring? They don't even know how boring this place could be to them!”

“Excellent nicely kept place, folks that run it are great. A lot of the areas are air conditioned so a nice place to cool down, a word of warning go up the lighthouse when you arrive because if it lightnings it must be closed plus it is hot in there so then go to the old wood shed theater to cool off. Leave all food n drink as none can be brought in but there are fresh water fountains and the toilets even have A/C. Please do go to the top of lighthouse as the views are fantastic it is worth the effort. Yep loved it, Oh and go to the marine life center next door it too is excellent didn't fancy touching the manta ray's but they seem to love it. Go see great team there too. Hey if you're over 50 you are a senior but I paid full price at 55. Good luck all.”

They have a nice little museum with a bunch of marine animals and information oh, they also have a turtle rehab center housing the same building, and then outside they have a small but rather impressive bird sanctuary. Well worth the admission price to see what they have to offer.”

“Sullivan's Point is a Rail Photography spot located on CSX's River Subdivision, formerly the West Shore Line. Located at the end of Christie Street in Ridgefield Park, this elevated trackside "platform" offers great views of southbound and northbound freight trains operating on the line. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: An access path to the left of the steel platform was cleared as not to intrude on the driveway of the residence to the right. Please be respectful and do not stand in their driveway for your shots. A broom and rake have been left by the platform.
