  This nature park is a great place to get outside, walk, hike, bike and see our natural wildlife up close. We didn't see any large alligators this visit but we did see four small baby alligators and a few beautiful herons. I love this place & it's free!

  Fantastic place for walking, wildlife viewing and photography. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Shaded parking areas. Nice Nature Center with displays, information and restrooms.

  I can't rate the nature center as it wasn't open during my visit, but I can tell you about the surrounding nature preserve--go there, be quiet and respectful of both the wild life and the other visitors who may be there to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature rather than others caring on loud conversations. If you're quiet, and listening to the sounds around you, you will likely get to experience the joy of discovery, and the beauty of nature.

  Great nature preserve with plenty of trails to walk. The center itself has info available on the trails and wildlife that has recently been observed. There are some activities available for children. This is a place that you should always have a camera available because there is so much to see. In the summer the best times to walk are early in the day or later in the day. Some of the paths have little to no shade.There are free tours available but you must reserve space in advance.

  What a pleasant way to spend time in the thick of Nature! Free to the public and to park. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance to the building. Saw many different birds and little critters...and even a few gators mid day. Keep in mind YOU ARE IN THEIR WORLD! Do not litter and its Not Wise to move off the trails.
