“A nice little musuem that warrants a once or twice go to. Knowledgeable staff that take you through a VERY interactive and kid friendly tour of fossils of dinosaurs and foot prints. Also, allows the opportunity for you to "help" uncover a fossil. Enjoyed the mixture of current alive non-extinct animals such as turtles and snakes. Overall, great small trip to do when looking for indoor places to explore on a sleepy weekend.”

“Interesting place. I think it was closed when we got there, but it was still fun to walk around.”

“One of the most magical and resourceful creations and creative beings that ever lived in avalon. He is responsible for most of the painted tiles around town, several installations to the native American community that existed on the island before it was purchased by the wrigley's, as well as several bronze sculptures found on front street. This used to be the most magical place to visit & create alongside a Catalina legend, who dedicated his lifes work to collecting treasures discarded by locals & construction projects into beautiful works of arrt to be displayed & recreated into functional arrt works, & fully immersive creative space. Unfortunately the island company, has kicked him out of this beautiful museum he spent over 43 creating and sharing with the Island, as well as off the island, as they need their land to build more development, something that is a very serious issue, as the initial reason Wrigley jr bought the island and donated it to the Conservancy was to PREVENT FURTHER DEVELOPMENT to preserve the land and history Just another part of Catalina history, that's been pushed out due to corruption & corporate discrimination of things they don't make $ on.”

“Educationally and interesting experience. The wait time for the tram taking us back to the Space Center was however very, very long. I am convinced the world's most technologically advanced organization can find a way to optimize that process.”

“Our family truly enjoyed our visit to the Johnson Space Center. The tram we rode, with the knowledgeable tour guides was very informative as well as interesting. Our son was super excited, there was so much to do and see. Truly an educational experience. We will return in the future. I recommend the Space Center for all families.”

“I took the "Hard Hat" tour with a group of my friends. This tour is led by a (very, very well informed) team of volunteers, and visits parts of the ship that are not open to the general public. As the name states, you are issued a hard-hat for the tour, as some of the areas accessed must be reached through low openings, or traverse stairs with places likely to find your head unexpectedly. It takes over three hours, but it is well worth it. Fascinating stories, and an incredibly fascinating ship. Well worth the time and cost of admission! Highly recommended.”

“Excellent little museum. The location is now correct on the map. It is located across a small Creek next to Haven Harbour Marina. Actually to get in you must get the key at the Ditty Bag Store in Haven Harbour Marina. Filled to the brim with crabbing, fishing and oystering regalia, these three small rooms are crammed packed with information and historical photos. One could spend 15-45mins there. Donations were graciously accepted.”

“Small but really cute nature center with a play area for younger kids. The ranger on duty when we stopped by was really friendly and brought out animals for the kids to touch and learn about. Definitely worth a stop if you are at Elk Neck.”

“This place was really cool. The mine tour was awesome (a little scary first going in...I kept thinking what if an earthquake strikes and we get stuck lol) and it was great (and sad) to learn what the miners experienced. Even my kids (9, 6, and 4) enjoyed it.”
