“Very interesting history with this old jail, where prisoners were segregated. Upstairs there's also a room which displays the doctors tools and apothecary, as well as the jail cells. The tour guide, Hal, provided a lot of interesting facts as well as showing items on display. The witch, Moll Dyers, rock is right outside of the jail, as well as a cannon.”

“This place is awesome. To start, you're high on a hill and the view of the bay is spectacular, especially at sunset where it's really mind blowing. The various exhibits on display are usually really cool and lots of times they have interactive displays setup so everyone is very engaged including the kids. Great place to go. Definitely a must for watching a sunset on a clear night!”

“Another crucial part of the American Civil War. General "Stonewall" Jackson's Flank Attack. This is maintained and operated by the National Park Service located off of Highway 3 while traveling west. There are maps and information located underneath the trees and you can look across and see what the Soldiers on the battlefield would have seen that day.”

“Interesting place to visit, rich with historical facts about and influences of the Victorian era on our current culture, as explained by the tour guide. If you've taken for granted (like me) the history of the ubiquitous Christmas Tree during the Holidays & how it became such an icon of American Christmas tradition, here is a place where one can learn it. I saw it as part of a trolley tour in the evening, showcasing Victorian homes & their Christmas decor. And part of the trolley tour includes a guided tour of the home's interior. However, I recommend seeing it in the day as well (drive-by is OK).”

“I like to visit this little museum every now and then. It is definitely child-oriented and also a bit rundown, or at least it was a few times I visited before. The best part in my opinion is the merchandise store, they have some really good stuff there worthy of becoming a present for a good friend!”

“This place is an unexpected gem. It's like a little, historic town with an old service/fuel station, blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, and fire station, as well as an 1800s house. Authentic items everywhere. It's like stepping back in time. What an amazing spot!”

“Great history of Martin airplanes and their role from WWII thru the Vietnam war. Commercial aircraft too. An awesome line up of airplanes and helicopters that you can climb into and explore. Very knowledgeable staff and tour guides. Many have actual flight time in the aircraft. Planes are actually restored there by former crew and engineers. Amazing lineup.”

“We enjoyed visiting this museum, taking the tour, and spending a good chunk of time and money here! The gift shop had excellent items with great pricing. The tour is a self-guided audio recording, which was fine with us. It was a little long for our two small kids but nonetheless worth it.”
