“I have been to this Museum a few times but was able to explore some additional items this go round. It was great seeing some of the motorcycles and especially the Honda collection. I was surprised they didn't have more motorcycle options from other makers Honda seemed to predominate. Some of the great old cars were fun to see including the old Alfa Romeo it was brought in. Also in this museum is a unique pipe organ where the owner or curator has taken the pipes and pieces from a variety of different organs and combined them into one so that you're able to play a lot of very unique sounds. Also a fun part of this as that viewers can come up and join the organist and play a little bit themselves. This was a lot of fun for my daughter and her friend.”

“We had an absolute blast! So proud of the BX! The facility was extremely clean, the employees were all friendly upon entering. The greeter/security on the first level gave great suggestions when she saw how young my son was and we took her advice and had a great time in the wonder space play area. Nom was super incredible with all the little ones and we all enjoyed story time. I absolutely recommend taking your little ones here. It’s a nice treat and easy to locate.”

“Nice trading post, tourist souvenirs & unique turquoise museum. Lots of handmade, locally sourced turquoise from the local “little Blue Bell mine”. Located in the Cerillos Mining District, 25 miles south of Santa Fe, NM. Follow the signs in the small village once you turn off the main highway. Quirky & unique items with nicely made local turquoise jewelry.”

“I think this unique site gets passed by ... its tucked away in a quiet, little neighborhood. The house and furniture within are made of newspaper. It's a $2 donation to visit. Honor system (there's a box on adjacent property to leave donation). You enter on your own and take your time browsing. It's worth the stop if your already in the area.”

“💵OR 💳 Just need a day out? Just need new scenery? I would recommend Pine Mountain Gold Museum. They host a few events as well that they share on their Facebook page, so keep an eye out for those! We went out when they had the animal encounter. They had goats, cows, a camel and a tortoise. The feed was $3 if you wanted to feed the animals. They also had an ice cream vendor truck there, which was nice! Go into the museum to purchase a receipt for all the activities you want to do: We also went gemstone panning and took a ride on the train! The kids loved the gemstone panning; it was fun to see them excited about what their crate held! They also loved the train ride; super quick & went right around the property. Beautiful place with different activities to do throughout. Note: They do have a museum as well, but I do not feel like my kids are at the age that we could have done that yet without getting restless.”

“We did the paranormal investigation and during the day did the history tour. If I could give a higher rating I would. Both were outstanding! I had Dawn, I think that was her name, she did both tours for me. I'm going to break both down. The history museum tour is great for the family or just on your own. Tons of facts and beautiful antiques. It was very engaging and entertaining. Very informative. The paranormal investigation that I did, she gave us tools to use that we handled directly so you could tell and see what they did and didn't do. We were given history information and shown photos and videos that were taken there. There definitely was a decent amount of activity I got to experience and some that others experienced. It was NOT threatening in anyway it was very playful and the tour guide made me feel so at home and comfortable.”

“We weren't able to view inside the houses, because they were closed. But it was still nice to look at each house and read the informative plaques. Can't wait to come back when we can see the insides.”

“Beautiful grounds and great place to enjoy nature. Plan on lots of walking, this is a great location to hike. The butterfly house was beautiful but not very many butterflies compared to other butterfly house I've visited. The train ride was a good way to hear of the history of the preserve. Bring lots of water we had a hard time finding a spot to purchase a bottle in here and you will need it.”

“Very interesting. Tour about 45 minutes. Our tour guide was wonderful and fun. It is 55 stairs down and same coming back up. A lot of us seniors and I didn't see anyone having problems. We learned more about mass destruction And hopefully the active missiles never need to deploy. We enjoyed our tour.”

“We had the most informative and educational tour with Dr. Wood, the Museum Director and a leading member who oversees the dinosaur dig at the Hanson Ranch in Wyoming. It was so fascinating to see a working lab and learn how dinosaur fossils were excavated and preserved. Dr. Wood walked us through where they found the bones and what they think might had happened to those dinosaurs. He then took us to where they store the fossils and literally pulled out the trays from the locker with all the bones - mostly teeth, vertebrae, limb bones from upper Cretaceous dinosaurs, and we were able to see two well kept and restored triceratop skulls and jaws. This experience is beyond words!! I think this might actually be my first time touching actual dinosaur fossils. I would highly recommend anyone to go and see for themselves. The museum right now is by appointment only. Make sure to call or contact them before you go.”

“Went here recently with my reciprocal membership for the first time, and really enjoyed it. Lots to learn, and beautiful sights to see. My family loves to explore, and this is the perfect place. It isn't too long for the kids to get tired out, but it isn't to short to make the drive not worth it. We happened to go around Halloween, so they had the place spookified too, which the kids loved. Will definitely be going back!”

“What a beautiful place to get away for the day and be immersed in nature. The trails are nice and wide, and relatively flat so most could enjoy it without concern for great technicality. Just an easy amble through the woods. The path markers were very clear, and none of the trails were particularly long. This time of your everything is covered in a soft bed of moss. I highly recommend going while it is raining or shortly after. The dense canopy above immerses you in its colour, and song. It was very busy, but you can pace yourself to wait 10 minutes in between each person's start time, that way it feels like you're secluded. Can't believe I've never been! Well worth the drive :)”

“Cleve Carney Museum of Art is a fantastic space for artists to show. Set inside the MAC the space is well balanced with great lighting and floor space. Depending on artist, plan to spend a half to an hour enjoying the installations. Outside the main gallery you can treat yourself to some very special pieces from COD permanent (personal) collections. Miro, Ito, Lewitt and Ledger to name a few. A great space to recharge and sketch.”
