Highly recommend a visit, especially paired with other stuff in the San Diego and Imperial county deserts. Spent about an hour here.”

“John, the Director of the Historical Society, gave a very entertaining and informative talk to Chamber members that highlighted much of the architecture and its history in our quaint Chagrin Falls village. This building was my office for many years, and I had not seen it since I had moved out. John was gracious enough to give me a personal tour and I was amazed at all the work that was done to transform it into such a ideal location for this important organization.”

“It's a long, difficult hike to get to all 3 waterfalls. There is a route that is family friendly but it's a long walk down the trail and a long hard trek back up the river to see the first waterfall. The "main access" I guess, would be the big rope, but it is not for kids or even some adults. That access is invisible from the trail so keep an eye over the edge to find it, it's 5 minutes or less down the trail. Risky though..”

Tons of people, families, and dogs. A chance to see and taste several honey varieties and to see snakes, turtles, and hundreds of bees. The event, parking, and all kid activities were free. It was really great fun and we're looking forward to next year!”

Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Museum

Address: 37820 SE 69th Pl, Snoqualmie, WA 98065, USA

Museum

“This is a self guided self paced tour and it had all the information you need to learn about the rich history of Snoqualmie and the Falls. You'll learn the pieces and the engineering marvel that was done ahead of its time. It was great to learn and see the moving pieces that generates the electricity for so many areas of Washington. It is a really clean and well maintained place and I highly recommend not skipping this place. Parking is limited but you can walk to this place from the Snoqualmie Falls viewpoint. It's probably a 15 minute walk with minor descent and ascent. There's probably 5 to 10 spots available at the site itself.”

There are several exhibits, including the local military history as well as some Thomas Day Furniture. A genealogy research room provides histories written by family members. “As a PNW native you get exposed to a lot of big foot enthusiasts so if you cant beat em.. This place is a super cute roadside attraction/museum. It was clean, well kept and seems like they add to it regularly since there were a couple of "new attraction coming soon" signs. This place is very fun and campy. Cute gift shop, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They do have a restroom available for use. I would say this probably wouldn't be really fun for young children as most of the displays require reading (not a bad thing just a heads up for parents) Very fun way to spend an hour and very affordable.”
