“Wow. What an incredible museum. It's absolutely worth the money. I highly recommend. It is filled with massive planes in two separate hangars. Some you climb up to and a cockpit you can sit in. There is a small Cafe. The bathrooms are massive with tons of stalls, very cleaning, and also have a changing table. I also want to note that the toliets do not automatically flush (noise sensitive kid and public bathrooms can be a challenge) so it's always nice to know it won't be a stressful restroom break. The kids areas are huge with educational aspects with tons of fun. You could spend hours here, an entire afternoon really. My kid didn't want to leave. For the adults: tons of information to read and learn. I am very impressed with the information and quality of the items in the museum.”

“Even with our group deciding not to ride the train, it was really cool. The historical trains were very well maintained and it was crazy to see how far we’ve come. The museum itself was completely free and we spent a good hour just exploring the multiple buildings filled with historic items, trains, and tracks.”

“Wish I could give them 10 stars. We had Samantha give us a personal tour. It is hard to believe ALL the items have been donated from the community. They have a little something for everyone.”

“Pomeroy Farms is such a great place! It's an interactive educational museum, as well as event and wedding venue. It's charming and peaceful; full of life while full of memories of the past too. The services is great, the grounds are clean, the views are stunning and the experience is fun! Check them out, you'll have a blast whatever you end up doing there.”

“This outdoor museum is wonderful. I took my 86 year-old dad there and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Those that volunteer at this museum have years of experience in aviation and have experience in a variety of areas in aviation. They kindly took us around in a golf cart and showed us the planes, giving us insightful details about the planes. On 1 cargo plane you can go inside. My dad can walk up a few stairs but if you are unable to walk, you can still see inside the cargo area of the plane. If you can walk up the stairs, you can see and sit in the cockpit seats. This place is a hidden gem and I hope to take my dad again.”

“My family & I had a great visit today at the Railway...Will definitely be back soon!!! Will also be recommending a visit here to all of our friends & family...Very nice and scenic train ride for all ages to enjoy...price for tickets are very reasonable...lots of old trains and old train memorabilia to walk around and look at...even the prices in the gift shop were reasonable!!! Very impressed that every person that makes this place run are volunteers...all volunteers we interacted with today were so friendly😊 The only downfall of the day was the price of food from the foodtruck...and there was only one vendor with a food truck to choose from, but there is plenty of tables if you wanna bring a packed lunch or dinner.”

“OH MY GOSH!!! This shop is amazing! I don't even have kids, and I wanted to buy stuff for every niece, nephew, neighbor, or friends' child! They had THE absolute cutest baby/children's clothing that is boutique unique without being pretentious. 🥰 The staff even help you put together super adorable outfits (with accessories if you want! Ahh, tiny sunglasses kill me with cuteness)! They also have fun games and gifts for kiddos. ANNNND they have excellent play and craft areas that can be reserved for parties and events! If you have little ones in your life, you HAVE to come visit here!”

“We spent 1.5 hrs and didn't get to all the buildings. Our 2 and 5 yr old loved running around finding the numbers of the sights in order, and of course the musket demonstration!! We also did the orientation video at the beginning, which took time, but really helped us understand more as we walked around. The whole place is excellent and you can skim the history or go in depth. Highly recommend!”

“May 2022 - beautiful desert bloom garden, behind the Navy Hospital and to the left of the Pacific Views Event Center / Inns of the Corps. Absolutely FANTASTIC site for wedding photos this weekend. Everything was in bloom - purples, golds, oranges - it was a beautiful location.”

“I love Botanic Gardens! Came here with my friend and husband (they both love plants and I like flowers) to explore. Admission is $18 which I found pretty high. I would think for that amount, there should be a bigger parking lot (we found parking on the side street, not even in the lot). The garden is huge though and we spent 2 hours exploring. There weren't any water fountains (that we saw) and I was dying of thirst after walking so much and emptied out our water bottle! The greenhouse had really cool plants like the corpse plant and a helpful and creative display of how to care for your plants and visual examples of them. I have to say, the gift shop was a little disappointing and didn't have too much stuff. They definitely sell a lot of plants though. On our exploration of the gardens, it is easy to get lost and miss lots of things cause there is so much to see! From a blue lined lizard to the real tree house with a great view and lots of different fruit and flower trees! Admission price is high but I will say there is plenty to see and walk around. It definitely helps to bring a hat or umbrella.”
