“An must have experience. What a cool place in our neighborhood. So much real life animals that one would never get to see so close in real life. Can't touch anything which is hard for younger children because the animals are so close.”

“The Carnegie Mansion is a gorgeous Georgian revival style Mansion at Fifth Avenue in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. The Carnegie Mansion was initially built in 1899 and finally completed in 1902 by Andrew Carnegie, a pioneering steel industrialist and world renowned philanthropist. It served as the primary residence for Andrew Carnegie, his wife, Louis Whitfield and their daughter, Margaret Carnegie Miller. Today, the Carnegie Mansion now serves as the location of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. In June of 2021, I brought and treated myself and my wife for a visit of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design. During our self guided tour, my wife and I learned much about Andrew Carnegie and the history of Carnegie Mansion from the museum’s staff. We learned that the Carnegie Mansion was the first private residence to have a Otis passenger elevator and also contain central heating. Both my wife and I highly enjoyed our visit of this breathtaking historic mansion!!!”

“Wow, this is hands down one of the most amazing exhibits I have been to. We've been stationed in Germany the past 5 years and this museum had items that not even the German museums can rival. Admission is free, but please, put that money in the donation box instead. The story of these fearless men featured at the museum, is nothing short of amazing and heart wrenching. Even if you're just stopping in Oklahoma for the day, you cannot miss this opportunity. They also hold the largest collection of Hitler's privately owned items. From going to so many museums in Europe, especially WWII sites, I can absolutely say this is true.”

“Great place to visit. We would like to see more signage on plants to know what the plants are. The walking paths are well maintained. Would like to also see more benches on the path heading up to the Mansion. It would also be nice to have some benches inside the Mansion. To be more friendlier to people who may need to rest for various reasons and so be able to visit such a great place!! The gift shop and cafe should stay open longer. We are contemplating becoming members.”

“Fantastic museum filled for US Army material. Great and well deserved dedication to those brave men and women. The museum is divided into time periods which makes it easy to track the transition and development of the Army over time. Good videos that explain different events. Also contains some activities for younger kids to enjoy.”

“I coordinated a wedding here in mid May and this venue was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us access to the interior of the house for photos and decor. Parking can be a difficult thing, but so long as you account for that, Gibson House is a beautiful event location. Even in the heat of an almost 90 degree day the shade from the trees kept everyone comfortable, and there was plenty of space for every part of the wonderful wedding.”

“The guide Chris and the property manager (forgot her name) are awesome. The amount of passion and info they have is so enlightening, entertaining and enriching. This stop had to have been the highlight of our trip. Who knew this small stop would have been so fun. What made it more special was visiting on July 3rd. Can't picture a better way to honor American history. Parking seems to be plenty, make sure to check out the rest stop across the way. Just be warned the actual stalls have no doors, its basically a glorified outhouse. Admission is $3 adult and $1 a child. Check it out, the house has a pretty unique history!”
