“Take a trip 200 years back in time! Nice grounds, interesting docents and questions welcomed. Huge ancient oak trees and outbuildings complete the story of the people who started life on the River, made themselves rich and their history is still here for us to touch. Free first Sundays with visiting artists from time to time. A terrific afternoon trip.”

“Awesome time. Well worth the 40 bucks. Crew couldnt be more friedly. It is kinda weather dependent. I wish they were more willing to go out in the choppy waters more to feel the water under you more. I saw a few sea sick looking people so I understand why they dont but I'd like it. Do it if you interested”

“It’s FREE (As it should be) The spiral bound tour guide is well laid out and easy to follow. It doesn’t take an entire day to go through (~2hr) The Nuremberg trials room full scale replica at the end is simply stunning. Possible next upgrade: an app or audio guide version of the tour. The app would also be an easy giving portal.”

“This is a unique little museum inside of Elite Auto Detailing. Park in front of the building with the Ferrari sign and Auto Detailing. There’s a plaque indicating you’re at the right place. It’s like a private collection of all kinds of toys - mostly car toys. Vintage fire engines and police cars. Salesman’s samples/ models of all kinds of things - mini bathtubs, toilets, saloon bar, coffee bar, ladders, etc. Also there’s dolls, animal toys and a whole room dedicated to dog themed toys and paintings. There’s also really, super sweet, awesome luxury cars!”

“My phone has deleted my review twice in a row while writing it. Great gallery with a huge back room, so they probably rotate what is on display regularly. Went with my friend and her four year old son. Like taking him to art galleries but would not take the average four year old to a gallery that has Picasso's in touching range. Please post this phone.”

“Smaller Hall of Fame but interesting nonetheless. It has 2 floors, first floor tells mostly the history of how softball (kitten ball) started to present day. With various items used throughout the years (balls, bats, uniforms, etc). Basement was mostly focused on college softball. Nice museum is you like softball and it covers both men's and women's softball.”

“The vulcan is a great place for a walk or doing some outdoor exercise! It's absolutely beautiful and the view from the top is amazing. The hike is a great way to see Birmingham and spend some time in the sunshine, but the trail is also really shaded in some spots too, so that's nice for when it's hot out! Would 10/10 recommend! The only thing I'd say to be careful of is that some people don't have their dogs on leashes on the trail, so if you bring a nervous pup with you, be wary of them!”

“GO TO NAPA AUTOPARTS FIRST!!!!!!! This store has been here for more then 20yrs that I can remember. Customer service is great. They don't hesitate to go old school and look for the parts out of the catalog if they can't find it in the computer system. Keep up the great work.”

“One of my favorite museums in the world. It is very different from most in the things are not sorted out by periods necessarily. They also have a good collection of Ceramics and glass and sculptures, unusual in my experience when most museums are hanging paintings. I particularly like the windows looking out on the Gulf that look like art also. Fabulous Museum Store!”

“I attended the Christmas event they hold here every year. They have actors dressed in late 1800s - 1900s clothing and playing roles in their Mills, houses, stables, etc. Santa was also there and set up very nicely. This is a well put together Christmas event and I would highly recommend attending!”

“Cool little free (donation entry) homage to motorcycles. Gain a bit of knowledge about foreign bikes. There was also oddities, like a farm motorcycle built from wood. Definitely worth a look if you're into some cool old machines.”
