“Grass is dry and worn, but the dirt underneath is still better than the grassless gravel you get at some places. This is a spacious layout on a mild decline which is great. Some picnic tables and seating for guests. It's part of a larger green and we'll maintained park. My boy had a great time in both large and small dog enclosures. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“Besides the broken glass and graffiti this place was awesome... only thing my kids and I would have liked if people were to pick up after themselves as I have to epi pen myself due to people leaving there shellfish carcasses everywhere”

“My friend and I stayed here for a Saturday night. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the hot springs hiking in and out each day. The staff at the entrance were extremely friendly and welcoming. They took their time to explain the route to the springs to us thoroughly and were very helpful when we thought our dog had been bitten by a snake. I am plan to return in a few weeks with another friend because I had a great time there 😊 they also sell firewood and have a small breakfast menu if you order the night before!”

“We love this playground, at any time of the spring, summer, or fall! It does not tend to be terribly busy most days, which is a big bonus now when we are socially distancing. There is equipment for any age, from a baby swing up to a fast spiral slide! The picnic shelter is also very convenient.”

“Such a beautiful park! Great for the kids or animals. I take my kids fishing there. It does have bluegill but not much. And it does have catfish and bass. My husband caught a small catfish on a bass lure. the bass I caught was an amazing size. I do wish they would restock a little with the fish but other than that. Super clean and lovely!”

“This is a place the city of Weatherford and it's residents can be proud of. We enjoyed a wonderful educational experience as well as a peaceful time spent in nature. It is a must see place if you are in the area. We especially enjoyed the interactive educational information boards placed along the trail.”

“The wide open expanse of grasses remind us of the low country of South Carolina. The unspoiled beauty at Bethel is hard to find and we thoroughly enjoy biking the flat roads from the Inn at Tabs Creek. If the wind is light, you may be harassed by biting flies.”

“It was absolutely amazing. I got lost but I just found the river bed and and followed it to find my way back. Very well kept, clean in every way. The water is completely clear. So many beautiful sights to see. 10/10 recommended. I recommend you plan at least a half a day to explore it fully. Its just the perfect place to go get lost in.”
Address: 1202 Deep Wood Dr, Round Rock, TX 78681, USA
“A paved path that starts at McNeil.Rd and extends for almost 2 miles into the Round Rock West neighborhood. A nice path, easily accessed by several streets, but not much more than that. There are a few benches and some nice trees but not much shade, which is important in a hot Texas summer. Definitely worth using if you live in the neighborhood.”

“Super nice place for sports. Many many soccer fields and baseball fields. A small lake to the east side of the park. Trails for walking or hiking. Disk golf and a dog park. Very well kept and maintained. Parking can be an issue when multiple sport games are being played at the same time. Overall excellent place to play or watch.”

“Just viewing the park in Google Maps,, it looks too small to accommodate much of anything. Actually, there us a surprising amount of space. Really nice, well maintained grassy area with plenty of room to set up a small stage, accommodate seating and still have room for dancing. It was perfect for DRUM the Program (West African culture, drumming and dancing). We'll definitely check out other events being held here in the future.”

“You don't really need 4x4 to get up there,I made it up with a 99 front wheel drive expedition. The views are beautiful since you can see 360 degrees at some points, there's only about 4 camp sites but if full people don't mind if u make your own...you can ride this trail from hemet to little Tomas mtn too.....people please keep it clean. I posted a photo of the hemet lake side during our winter in 2023 Feb.”

“Great hike! If you want to do the incline, but are scared, start with this one. It's a similar level of incline, but with shade. From the academy visitors center is 1.9m to the top. The trail is a bit hard to find at times, so general rule is stay left on your way up.”

“We stayed here once and already have a second stay booked! I loved everything about my stay, even the visitor (racoon) we had in the middle of the night. Even though he ripped a borrowed tent. What kind of an outdoor experience would it be if we didn't experience wildlife at its finest? We had a site, way out back. All to ourselves. My husband, 2 kids (9 & 11), and I. It was so peaceful, I really needed that. We rented a golf cart for the 3 day Memorial Weekend stay. Their firework show was phenomenal! Hands down one of THE best that I've ever been to. The owners were nice and helpful. Their older children had activities going for the kids. My kids loved it. Although we took their bicycles, the only wanted us to take them in the golf cart everywhere. Lol. It was there first time. Definitely recommend! Already trying to convince my husband into becoming seasonal campers 😀”

“We stayed in the family house. Three adults and 7 kiddos. It's got a real "church youth group" retreat feel to it. The living room is uncomfortable and sparse. Tons of beds and they were fairly comfortable. The downstairs (basement) level is freezing but we liked that. The kitchen needs an island and it was barely stocked with enough tools to cook for 2 people let alone 10 to 20. No dish towels, no kitchen rug, one or two pots and pans, no plastic bowls or tupperware. It's definitely NOT like an Airbnb where there's a cabinet of odds and ends. We picked up groceries on our way only to find we needed to return to purchase coffee filters, salt and pepper and other things that are standard amenities when you rent a large home from airbnb. That stuff is cheap and should be provided. We left the remainder of our 200 filters (195) for the next person along with some other necessary supplies. Hopefully they will help out the next person. Maybe the staff just takes everything for themselves when folks leave? The sleeping rooms are carpeted and the large living/ dining area are hard flooring but there wasnt a vacuum or mop to be had in case you needed to clean up. Any house that is meant to accommodate large groups (with kids) should have those things. Especially when you're expected to leave it in the condition you found it. We went back to the store to buy a swifter mop and no matter how many times I mopped the floor was never clean and the mop pad was black with dirt. The Airbnb ad said it had a highchair which meant you had to go to the snack bar to get one of their wooden table highchairs. The kind restaurants have with no tray and not functional for any child under 6 months. The split level steps that go up and down arr completely unsafe for kids. The spindles are like 12+ inches apart and a small child could easily fall from the second level straight down to the bsmt. So that was another trip back to the store to spend $60 bucks on a walkthrough baby gate. Plus $20 on an electric screwdriver in case the baby was strong enough to push the tension mount and still tumble down the stairs. The gift shop is way overpriced but that's to be expected. One of the pool slides was broken and it was broken 4 yrs ago when we stayed in one of the larger cabins. But the pools and splash pads were great otherwise. Unfortunately, they don't open until 11am which kinda sucks for kids who wake up at 6am. I think 9am or 10am would be more appropriate. Another issue is that they're not really clear about how and when to sign up for the zip line and other paid activities. They need a booklet that gives accurate info like "all children must be present at sign up" and "you can sign up in advance". We wasted a lot of their and our time because of vague information. Another thing of note is that they have expanded since we were last here and now visiting guests have to park at the entrance and walk to the other side of the campground. So my cousins with kids had to carry their baby, and all their pool supplies, etc and drag their young kids across the grounds. Then go back for a watermelon. When it's 90 degrees. That really sucks. Overall, the staff was really friendly and the kids had a blast. It was just a rough stay for adults due to the dirty conditions, lack of supplies, no comfortable place to sit and relax in the house, having to drop off and pickup visiting family member (who pay to visit) at the entrance, and charging like three thousand dollars for 5 days of vacation that felt like work.”

“This park is fantastic. It's a true gem.. the little wooden cabins are perfect for a sleepover. They don't have any kitchens or running bathrooms in them, but they have a giant fire pit in the back where you can grill and they have shared bathrooms and showers. Great for a few days or a week. Lots of giant RVs were parked and they have plenty of tent camping for individuals and large groups. The best grocery store is before you climb the mountain as groceries and Julian are pretty expensive and selection is sparse, so guess what you need before you go the final distance to Julian. Great hiking trails, friendly people. Cute shopping stores. It's an overall wonderful experience.”
