“Went to Saturdays in the Park, the road is closed to motor traffic from 9 to 3 on Saturdays. I liked the bathrooms. Found a shady place to park. Challenging 13 mile ride. Will be back.”

“This is definitely the most family friendly Acres property since it's completely paved. I walked the entirety of the loop and it came out to be 2.12 miles and took just under 40 minutes. I saw and heard plenty of birds and only a couple other people walking the loop so it was very peaceful. There's plenty of parking in the paved lot, and the path is very wide for walking, running, and even bike riding.”

“It's a great park to take the kiddos or walk around the huge pond. Attend a concert at, etc. Theres also a dog park and a small nature trail very close! Only downfall to the park itself is the direct sun with no shade coverage.”

“While this is a private location for LaSalle Council, Scouting America I can tell you it's a wonderful space. The waterfront is always a blast, especially in hot summer days. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing.... Camp Tamarack Waterfront has it all!”

“I visited this park recently, and I’d say it’s a great spot for relaxing and especially for RV stays. If you have an RV, this is perfect — they have camping spots that face the water. However, if you’re into hiking, it doesn’t offer much. Walking along the shore and around the fishing areas was very pleasant, though. The park is well kept and clean. This is a state park, so there’s an entry fee, but it’s free if you have the State Park Pass. I recommend it mainly for fishing.”

“Such a cool place! So many trails and so many unique rock features in this —almost 3000 acre— state forest! I can't believe I haven't been here before. A lot of unpaved dirt roads to get around but it just adds to the charm imo. Pack a lunch, bug spray, wear an outfit you can get dirty and make a day of it! Lots of trees so it doesn't get super hot which is always a plus too! I'll be coming back probably in the fall and I'd be excited to try checking out the camp grounds attached!!”

“Fun simple park for children from ages 2-6. 3 slides and 2 swings , with some branch balance beam and some strange walking and sitting mushrooms for kids. Just wear closed toe shoes the use of wood chips can be a hazard for kids in crocs or sandles.”

“A very spacious, clean and shady park. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The playground is has a large canopy, also there is plenty of parking. The picnic tables are ready for replacement, a basketball court would really enhance the experience for teens and adults. Overall a very pleasant atmosphere and experience.”

“What a breathtakingly gorgeous state park. My girlfriend and I camped here, this past weekend, and it is amongst our favorite florida parks that we've been to. Not only was it beautiful, but we felt that there was so much to see and do. We commented that it was like a theme park; "let's go to this part of the park to see this," "let's go climb the tower," "I think the scenic drive would be nice," etc. There were plenty of huge gators for us to gaze at, alongside nearly endless hiking trails. I was particularly amazed at the biodiversity in Myakka. There is prairie (my favoeite), tree canopy, a river with gators, a lake with a huge variety of birds, and an awesome tower that let's you see it all from above! We only camped for one night but the space was excellent. There was a spigot and power outlet so we could keep our phones charged. Finally, the bathroom at the campsite was huge and very clean. Myakka River State Park is absolutely awesome and Im looking forward to returning!”

“Marian Coffin’s garden design here at Gibraltar in Wilmington Delaware is romantic, with great statuary, this now feels like a secret garden due to the fact that the house of the estate is unfortunately in disrepair. Coffin, a landscape architect for the East Coast elite including designing the reflecting pool at Winterthur. The garden is free to enter and a very enjoyable wander indeed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ —————————————————”

“We car camped here for $10 per person, and it’s worth it because you have the communal area (the barn) where you get to meet cool people and cook on a stove and just have a good rest from the sun/wind. We didn’t stay in the rooms, but I’d say they’re a little overpriced, but that building has an even nicer communal area. Location next to Hueco Tanks (5 minutes) is perfect. Had an AMAZING time.. the staff are the best.”

“Cute little neighborhood park. Not really for large groups. I think this may be just for local homeowners. I happened upon it while taking someone home. A few grills and picnic tables under shade trees, a small walking/skating track and a decent playground. I did not see a bathroom. There is no where to park except the street itself, so again, it's mainly for neighborhood use. Got my dog out and walked the track anyway.”

“Sos, needed a park for the kiddos and found this little park. Not a lot of parking spots but enough and there is places to park outside the park. Bathrooms are pretty clean. Kiddos can run jump in play in a field or on a play structure. Yes homeless people might sleep in their cars in the park but they don't disturb you!”

“Wow it's really awesome place to spend time peacefully. It's close to Belmont caltrain station. Easy to commute. I dint expect this park would be that great, with in the city limits we can find giant trees, kids play area, picnic area to spend time with friends and family, we have history and arts area to visit. Recreation clubs. Senior and community centers. Really awesome place. Even you can see small creek with fresh water. Very very nice place.”
