“Wow! Such a beautiful State Park!! It was an enjoyable morning hike. There are a lot of trails to go explore! It was raining at times but you can still see the beautiful views. Photos and videos just don’t do justice! There are caves and waterfalls but maybe next time the waterfalls won’t be dried up. It’s very peaceful and all you can hear are the birds chirping. You may also come across some woodchucks like I did! Definitely come here and go explore and see the beautiful views!!”

“I volunteered at magic forest farm for a summer and have come back periodically to visit in all four seasons- it’s a beautiful place, and Joan and jay are awesome hosts/farmers, who have always focused on how they can sustainably build their farm and community. The farm has so much to offer- private camping grounds and alternative dwellings, friendly farm animals, miles of private trails and if you’re lucky enough to catch Joan or jay in between them working on one of their many projects they have a wealth of knowledge on organic and sustainable farming, mushroom foraging, eco friendly/alternative construction and much more. The magic forest farm is great and I would recommend a visit to anyone!”

“Jerusalem is just east of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho and is the most beautiful, pristine place! The campground is absolutely gorgeous, and is a perfect base camp for soaring over and among the mountain tops and majestic trees of Jerusalem Valley with Zip Idaho. We enjoyed whitewater rafting at Cascade Rafting, eating at the made-from-scratch restaurants in Horseshoe Bend, and jumping off the train trestle bridge to begin an easy lazy float down the lower main of the Payette River among the deer and the eagles.”

“Delta Meadows River Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. The park is home to stunning views of the river, as well as a variety of wildlife and hiking trails. One of the best things about Delta Meadows River Park is the views. The park is located on a bluff overlooking the river, and visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the water, as well as the surrounding wetlands and forests. The views are especially stunning at sunset, when the sky turns a fiery orange and the water reflects the colors of the sky. In addition to the views, Delta Meadows River Park is also home to a variety of wildlife. The park is a popular spot for birdwatching, and visitors can often see herons, egrets, and other waterfowl. The park is also home to deer, coyotes, and other mammals. Delta Meadows River Park is a great place to go for a hike. The park has a variety of trails to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging. The trails wind through the wetlands and forests, and offer stunning views of the river. “Great location right off the beach. Good sized sites, clean bathhouse and a recreation hall where breakfast is served. Cell service is weak here, not something the RV Park controls. If you intend to ride a golf cart, stay off 361. Drive on the beach until you get north of ave G. The resort wifi is non existent to poor anywhere away from bathhouse and rec hall.”

“I absolutely love this place! My dog and I hike there almost every day! Sad to be moving soon but this hiking place is amazing. It has some arrows to follow but they are brown and hard to see so the community has painted blue marks on the trees so you can follow the trail. The whole trail loops around. At times it does get muddy when it rains so wear the right gear. Also, there is a small creek that mg dog loves to play at. It is not very well known so not a lot of people there. Very private and quiet place. It’s a short hike but we loop around multiple times.”
