“Suffolk Festival of Lights is a decent display if you live nearby. It is free and may take 10 minutes maximum to see. Lights are set up along the entry and the circle where pavilions are located. It is not as impressive as the ones you have to pay for in Norfolk and Va Beach. It is nice, but I wouldn’t drive a long way to see it.”

“I celebrated my birthday at the nearby USS Iowa. This was the ideal location for bringing pizza and cake to celebrate afterwards. It has a small playground, plenty of shade, and a few picnic tables. The only problem is that there is no bathroom. If someone really needs to go, there are plenty of fast food restaurants nearby. A small park in a peaceful neighbourhood. It's my kids' favourite place to play. The only disadvantage is that once the sun begins to set, you will most likely have to return home because there are no lights and no restroom.”

“Nice little park with a creek, a soccer field, and a couple of loop trails. They have a picnic pavilion as well and the parking is good size with porta potty option. Overall, it has everything for the little kids and family to have fun at.”

“Pretty busy park I was a little surprised that the sprinklers for the lawn stayed on almost all day but we had a great time with the family.... It was a good park to throw our 10 olds birthday party at.”

“It was a warm day in February so we made our way over to the Huntertown dog park. What a joy to be able to spend time outdoors with other dog owners and all the dogs had a great day. It is nice that it is available and no “membership” is required. Everyone was really nice and the dogs had a great day. When the weather is in transition laying some straw in the really muddy spots would be a great way to keep the mud to a dull roar!! Either way, it was a fun day.”

“I walk my dog here. It has a nice water fountain for dogs, strategically placed trash cans that are emptied regularly, and nice landscaping. I would like more shade but I can walk in the evening”

“I always call this a dream park but I guess it's not. Reminds me of the one in monona and Fitchburg. Huge play park great for little to bigger kids. Has big parking lot with sidewalk to the park about around it. Wheelchair accessible. 3 picnic table areas with cover for shade plus extra ones in sun. Lot places to sit on. Not any big trees by park but they did plant some small ones. Would be great place to fly a kite.”

“Loved this RV park. It was my home for the last 3 months while travel nursing. The sites are rather large, wifi is good and Shannon was AMAZING to work with. Each site has a concrete pad that is large and a picnic table. They also have a cute fire pit, corn hole, playground and community area. No other amenities really, but my camper is self contained so it was no big deal. Beautiful views and very quiet campground. Highly recommend!”
