“This cute park is a lot of fun for the kiddos with plenty of cool structures to climb, walk across, and balance on. It's surrounded by a green lawn In a quiet residential area. There are a few picnic tables and benches around the playground. Bonus points because it's close to the slough walking trails. My 2 yr old loved it!”

“Amazing and right about everything. I need to go back because I didn’t do what was told of me and I definitely should of. He told me my son would talk to me again and it had been over 6 months and as soon as I left the store my son called me. I was in tears outside and I should of been back to see him… absolutely perfect in every way and completely accurate”

“Very nice location. Great views of the ocean. House is great to tour. Ghost hunters would enjoy this place. Nice grounds to walk around. The holiday decorations were a nice touch. Takes about half an hour to an hour to walk around the houses, but there are trails as well to walk through the preserve.”

“A small quaint well serviced city park. Too small for any significant walking trails exclusive to the park itself. Potentially a good place to picnic with the family; weather permitting. There are 2 picnic shelters near the main baseball field for times when the weather changes spontaneously. Additionally, there is a fairly modest size playground for children. It should be noted this particular park serves a very special role for the surrounding community as home of the local little league baseball team.”

“We rented the new handicap accessible Rhein Lake cabin for a weekend in mid October. The cabin is the largest public use cabin we ever been in. The big belly stove warmed us with minimal effort. The trail was a great ~the lake was even better ~a wonderful place to kayak ~ This winter we plan to do this again and take advantage of the groomed cross country ski trails. Nancy Lakes Recreation is Matanuska Susitna Gold.”

“This is a primitive backpacking campsite, and can be used only with a permit from Five Rivers Metroparks (it was only $10, and is less on weekdays and in the off-season). There are 3 campsites with room for 1-2 small tents each, a common area for cooking/eating, and a latrine. Each campsite has a pole with hooks to hang your food bag/backpack/lantern. No fires allowed here, so bring a camp stove. There is no water, so you'll have to pack it in, or go get it from the river and purify it. I had to walk about half a mile to get close enough to the river to get cooking water without having to bushwhack or climb down an embankment. It was very clean and well maintained, and I had the place to myself. Plenty of room between campsites if you did have company. The bugs weren't bad at all, and if there were any racoons or other critters around, they left me alone. The only downside was the noise in the evening. SR 725 is about 0.4 mile away, and Creek Rd. is 0.1 miles away - apparently everyone in Ohio with a motorcycle decided to drive down them last night. I could also hear gunshots from across the river somewhere just before sunset.”

“A cute little park that offers a “Walking Story Book”. Great for littles! It’s a circle but not too long of a walk. There are benches and picnic tables along the way as well. With lush green grass and just across the street from the Wabash River, this is ideal for a family picnic.”

“This park is gorgeous! Spacious, lush greenery, surrounded almost entirely with trees, bushes, flowers and a wooden fence. The biggest park playground my kids have ever seen! Slides, bridges, a castle structure - even railroad trains passing by across the road! Close to food and shops. Far enough away that it isn't crowded with exercisers. Plenty of room to run the doggy. Wildlife, bird nests, flowers and bees. Well-planned flower boxes full of rosemary and ornamental grasses. Beautiful!”

“There's a path and it goes through the woods... Ok fine... the paths are very long and made for horses or other trail riding or long hikes. It looks like it's been mowed recently but there's multiple small trees that have recently fallen so be careful.”

“This place is gorgeous 😍. The little lake at the beginning of the campground is lovely. There is a decent playground and a pool. The campsites are well maintained and well spaced. We stayed in one of their adorable cabins and don't regret it. Each campsite has its own picnic bench and a campfire ring. Our cabins bedroom window opened to the lake 😍 They are pet friendly but be sure to read the rules. The staff was very accommodating and nice. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and provided great directions. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area.”

“We loved our stay here. We had some bad luck with our truck breaking down when we got to the campsite but the staff was awesome. Sam and Mike were so helpful. Sam literally drove me into town to pick up the part I needed to fix my truck. They also offered a ton of help as well as let me use some tools. This is the best campground I have ever been to. Keep up the great work guys.”

“Great park for parents with young children. Slides, see-saw, monkey bars… That sort of thing. And unlike Atkins you’re not so close to Tyler Street, so you have more room for error as a parent if your child is anything like mine and is fast as a Formula 1 car and never gets tired of running.”

“My family and I LOVED camping here. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful with all of its tall pine trees. We all enjoyed the pool, mini golf and playground area. We visited the campground store often for snacks and souvenirs for the kids. The showers were probably the most well kept I’ve ever experienced in a campground. The location was perfect. Only a few minutes away from all of the Dells attractions as well as Mirror Lake and Devils Lake State Parks. Highly recommend!”
