“My husband and I took a little weekend getaway here and it far surpassed our expectations!! A peaceful and beautiful property. Bob and Peggy greeted us and set us up with all we needed! Had a great fire pit, electrical outlet, water spout, and picnic table right by us. They were SO friendly, we loved getting to talk with them and get the grand tour of their wonderful property. They have a big event center/family house going up along with a awesome log cabin! Perfect for a family get away. We will absolutely be back and bring family and friends! Already thinking about a family reunion here!”

“I just love this dog park. Its so clean and well kept, and there are always toys, water, and doggy bags. The people and their dogs are so friendly. The only thing I wish is that there were more dogs in the small dog side. People think small dogs don't need exercise so they don't register for a dog park, but that isn't true. Small dogs need just as much exercise and socialization as large dogs. Sign your small dogs up my friends!!! It's a great community.”

“I hesitate to rate this park 5 stars because I want it all for myself! I've been going to this park since 2010 when I moved into the area and it's my favorite local park. I even had my 30th birthday celebration here. Sand volleyball court is great (have had many pickup games here) and the new pavilions are awesome. Waterfall is a very cool feature. Very cool skate park. Also love that the parking lot is paved now! I am always so impressed this little park exists when I go, and I'm so glad it was built back up so nicely after the 2019/2020 flooding.”

“My review of Butler Park. This is a sweet little park. Street parking only. No bathrooms, water fountain works and has a pet watering trough as well. It has new play equipment and the play area is filled with wood chips. There are 5 stone picnic benches scattered along the dirt walking path with one large covered picnic ramada in the back. I saw no grills. There is a basketball court in which the basket balls dont always get free of the net. And a small grassy field with large evergreen elm trees providing lots of shade. It's a sweet neighborhood park.”

“We stayed one night in the container cabin. What a cool little cabin. Everything you need in such a tiny place. Very well equipped, very clean,. The attached deck with patio doors, bbq and chairs were great. We ate dinner at the restaurant and were astonished at the excellent customer service provided by the wait staff….The owners were friendly and accommodating. The property: marina, campground, restaurant and cabins were well looked after. Would definitely recommend.”

“Best sporting club out there! We will be members for a long time. The property is beautiful with options for upland and waterfowl hunts. We have been utilizing the property and birds to train my pup. It great to have several fields to provide different levels of challenge. Staff is super kind and very helpful. “Super cute park with a walking path. Close to the lake but not on it, so no waterfront views. Playground for the kids and several covered picnic tables for eating. Super.clean and well maintained with good parking. Disc golf course too. Only downside, not much shade, so be sure to bring sunscreen. Update - this place gets windy!! Be sure to bring a hat, scarf and gloves to walk here in the winter. Place was deserted on a Saturday morning in early December, my guess is the weather is a bit of a deterrent.”
