“Extremely well taken care of! We walked in to the bathrooms and my children all commented on how clean it was! Private bathrooms, air conditioned, laundry facilities, 2 dog parks, bounce houses and playground for kids. The pool is very clean, as is the whole campground. Back in to a pond site, basketball court, or the bounce house sites for a beautiful morning sunrise. The staff were all extremely helpful and the little store saved us from having to drive somewhere for broken camper supplies. We really enjoyed staying at this campground while in town visiting The Ark Encounter! Thank you for a well kept location!”

Lots to do even if you're not participating in shooting. The food was good at the main building and the staff is all friendly!”

Wassmer Park

Address: 6700 Roe Ave, Prairie Village, KS 66208, USA

Park

“Grandkids current ages 3 through 8. It was hood to see a newer park planned with multiple ages in mind. I think more trees need to be planted on the western side of the play areas to provide more shade. Or, build a structure to provide shade. The playground structures heat up quickly, rendering them useless on nice sunny days.”

Pinnacle Peak Park

Address: 26838 SE 481st St, Enumclaw, WA 98022, USA

Park

“Lovely trail with interweaving trails to get you to the peak. This trail is similar in length and elevation gain to rattlesnake but I feel it's a bit easier. There is a main road that you could take horses on that takes you to a small field with a picnic bench. From there to the peak/tower is about the last quarter of the hike. Be sure to remember which trails brought you up because there is one near the tower that branches off and brings you to the mt peak trail head instead of the main parking lot. The whole hike with small lunch at the bench took us 2 hours.”

Holley Park

Address: 1000 E 4th St, La Center, WA 98629, USA

Park

“Hadn't been to this park before (only been one time), but was pleasantly surprised by the water feature for kids. It also had a playground off the side that had a couple spinning structures and slides. The water playground had a couple of unique features that could be activated by a button near the water playground itself. A variety of water activities for kids to play with. Additionally there was a covered area on the south side of the park as well as baseball fields and public restrooms for use. Some tree cover for shade as well and wide open fields if some wanted to throw a ball or play soccer / frisbee.”

Pan-American Park

Address: Madera, CA 93638, USA

“The park has just recently been renovated. It has many new games for children to play. The playground is equipt with two separate playground in the same are for two different age groups. It has a side for the babies and toddlers to play in and also a separate playground for the bigger children to play in. The park also has a set of basketball courts, volleyball polls for playing and clean bathrooms. It even has gazebo for birthday parties and gatherings. It is a very good place to go spend some family time. It is where my family and I always go with our children.”

Cascade Park

Address: 1928 E Washington St, New Castle, PA 16101, USA

Park

“Visit Cascade Park to see the remnants of the amusement park that used to be here. I read the history of the park before going, and it was so interesting to see that some of the original buildings are still standing. The old carousel building, the old pool house, and the remnants of the roller coaster were great to see. The website mentions that there are plaques throughout the park, however I only saw one on the carousel building. There is a very short walking trail, and a small waterfall here as well. I love visiting places that still have a link to the past, and this park does just that. Thank you New Castle for keeping this gem in great condition.”

“Fairly nice park. It’s kept clean but the only downside is the amount of homeless people who call this place home. It’s a nice park to walk your dog, play tennis or basketball. If you bring your kids to the playground please keep an eye on them because the people who hang around here are highly questionable.”

The Lake Campground

Address: 2678 S Hametown Rd, Norton, OH 44203, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“We have a seasonal campsite here. The owners and staff are always very helpful and kind. The other campers are friendly and very respectful. The swimming lake has several large inflatables that the kids love. The Lake Campground is such a wonderful place. It’s a very family oriented place. I was impressed that the lifeguards not only were alert, but they even reprimand people who use loud foul language. That being said, it’s also a place where the adults can get lose and have fun, but respect for others seems to be priority and it doesn’t get as party crazy as some other “party campgrounds” we’ve been to. My only complaint would be that the community bathrooms are outdated glorified outhouses. We have a bathroom in our camper so it really doesn’t matter. Overall, we are VERY happy that we found this place to be our seasonal campground and we plan on staying there for years to come!”

Modjeska Park

Address: 1331 S Nutwood St, Anaheim, CA 92804, USA
