Three Lakes Park & Nature Center

Address: 400 Sausiluta Dr, Richmond, VA 23227, USA

Park

“Haven't been here in 8 years. The last time I went, I visited the nature center which is now closed. That didn't affect me today because dogs aren't allowed in the buildings. Great park. I spent one hour on one of the trails. Not crowded. Ran into 3 people on a weekday around 11. Most of the people I saw were at the playground. Nice place to visit if you love nature and water. Serene. Glad dogs are allowed. A few benches are along the trail. Wish I lived near so I could go more often.”

Glen Collins Memorial Park & Campground

Address: 33547-33559 Independence St, Shawnee, OK 74801, USA

Park

“The pavilion area was clean. There was even outlets for our crock pots. The surrounding area was nice and clean. There were no little trash cans. Had to walk a bit to a big dumpster. They had new bathrooms that were enclosed but not usable. Had to use the tin building ones. They just didn't seem very hygienic. They weren't totally gross though. Overall I would give the experience there an 8 out 10.”

Ham Creek Park

Address: 6957 FM 916, Rio Vista, TX 76093, USA

Park

“A quiet 92 acre, off the beaten path county owned park and campground in Rio Vista, TX. $2 day use fee per person. Several playgrounds, a boat ramp, and approx 20 day use primitive sites with covered picnic tables on the Brazos River. 30 RV sites (several with full hookups) and 10 tent sites, each with its own small coveted picnic table. 10 dedicated horse sites with power and water with 6 stalls.”

Fort Duffield

Address: West Point, KY 40177, USA

Park

“If you decide to visit and I encourage you to, wear some good walking shoes. The hike to to the actual fort is a good ways and uphill. they have a road but for some reason it is blocked so you can't drive to the top. Once you get to the top it's beautiful, the remains of the fort are educational. There are plaques that tell what most of the buildings were used for in the war. The fort and surrounding grounds at the top are very well kept and the view over west point up and down the Ohio River is stunning. Would be great outing for family and kid's. Plenty of room for the kid's to run around in the center portion of the fort. Beware of the outer edge's especially for kids, this place is very steep. when we were there looking upstream of the river we could see far past the L.G.E. power plant.”

“The newest state park also had the newest and cleanest facilities. Generously sized 2 room cabins are well insulated and heated. Plenty of sleeping space. Excellent camp for access to trails, disc golf, and weather permitting stargazing. No fishing/swimming opportunities is the only reason I can't give 5 starts”

Martin Bunky Reid Park

Address: 13823 Old Tester Rd, Snohomish, WA 98290, USA

Parking Park

“It's a beautiful park for sure. My family did a smaller loop, starting from this south parking lot, and we loved the trail. But like the others had mentioned, the last part of the trail is very steep. I'll definitely come back to this park, but next time I'm going to explore from the north parking lot to see if it's any better from there. I'd love to come back here with my parents, but I know I won't because of the last part of the trail. :(”

Cannon Valley Trail - Welch Station Access

Address: 26674 144th Ave Way, Welch, MN 55089, USA

Park Parking

“Love this trail! I visit several times a week from South St Paul for bike riding. Some of the pavement cracks in the “open field” areas between the gun range and the dirt road just before the new bathroom by trail run creek could be repaired. Those are some rough spots! Some potholes along the trail will catch you by surprise too - the bright white gravel they use to fill the holes only does so much. Watch out for all the tree nuts on the path during autumn too! Otherwise a very scenic and serene trail.”

Earl Warren Dog Park

Address: 4594 Paradise Knolls, Castro Valley, CA 94546, USA

Park

“We love it here. We usually come 4 days a week. It’s a great place for other social dogs to run and play. The regulars here are good people and look out for their dog/clean up after themselves. Shovels are provided to clean up and a shared water bowl/hose, although that gets pretty dirty quickly from dogs playing in it. A good tip is to bring your own bowl for your pup and use the hose to fill it up.”
