“Came to the area for the haunted house. Special admission was only 5.00. which was worth it. I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more considering how quickly it was over. The kids had a great time though so it was worth it. The crowd was small and there was ample parking”

Perrigo Park

Open area with plenty of sunshine during summer. 2 volleyball courts next to the picnic shelter. Need advance booking for events. No lights, so need to wrap your event by dusk, however there are electric outlets for appliances in case someone needs it.”

William C. Sterling State Park

Address: 2800 State Park Rd, Monroe, MI 48162, USA

Park

“The park is well maintained. The sites are mostly level and paved. There is good spacing around the sites and the parking pads are at an angle to the road making it very easy to back in. There are very few trees so you won't get any shade or protection from the wind. The park is directly next to the beach and trails connect to the day use section of the park and the rest of the trail system. The park is on the western shore of Lake Erie so the waves are minimal unless the wind is out of the East. Unlike many state parks there are some full hookup and 50 amp sites. Even on a hot day at pretty full occupancy there were no power issues.”

They have a cool little sandbox area for kids to play too (with toys and a tiny book library). The gardens were beautiful. Lots of flowers and plants for pollinators too which I loved seeing. The first one I took the longer winding .7 Mile Trail down to the bottom, but the next three I just went up the stairs and came straight back down. Fastest time up was 2:15min, and down in 2min. I saw that the Strava record is 40 seconds. Definitely got my heart pumping and by the 3rd and 4th time up I had to stop and rest a few times on the stairs.”

“Chapel Hill is such a lovely place to give your loved ones a peaceful and serene resting place. Both my parents are forever together with several other family members that rest there as well. It is a calming feeling to know that they are in good care by such professional people who are staffed at there. Everyone is so thoughtful and nice and their kindness is so appreciated when I was going through such a difficult time. I highly recommend that you consider this organization if you should ever need such services.”
