“My first time here. The Meadow Loop trail is a good distance (1.5 miles) and offers a nice mix of forest and wetlands. Be mindful of a few small holes hidden amongst the leaves on the grass portion of the trail. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Most helpful in getting new folks pointed in the right direction. Be sure to take a few minutes to check out the visitor center and the Raptors next door. Our Lorain Metro Parks are indeed wonderful destinations.”

“Fun park with a lake in a great location! Fish for bass, trout, and crappie or enjoy a picnic! Centralized restrooms and a special area for small children to play and run around. Leisurely stroll around the lake to take in the views of local and migrating wildlife or the snow topped mountains in the distance. There is plenty of room for social distancing and picnic tables throughout the park. There is also a large covered picnic area you can reserve for large gatherings with a big barbecue pit for cooking up some grub. A day use fee is required for all visitors and varies in price depending on your vehicle/vessel (only $5 for cars). The permit is valid for the entire day, and the machine takes cash or credit/debit cards (no coins). Check it out and enjoy your time at the lake!”

“This is definitely the best KOA we’ve stayed at. We are 2 adults with a fifth wheel who have been traveling through out the United States for 3 years. Pride of ownership is shown in everything you see, and all of the staff we encountered. The grounds are kept up. Beautiful landscaping and many hanging baskets are beautiful. We stayed at a site that came with beautiful brand new furniture table and chairs on concrete pad. The fire pit ring is large with concrete designed around it. Also came with a matching glider. Some few sites have wooden gazebos with lighting, and even an outdoor fan above it. Put my garbage out twice a day and it was always picked up. Quiet during day and night even though this huge park was full. Well done beach with small lake that is beautiful. Wonderful winery and beer hut set off on its own. Store had many many choices of food, hand served ice cream, coffee and lattes. Even frozen lattes! Many playgrounds all up to date with new equipment. The 2 pools had gorgeous landscaping and pool was pristine. Enjoyed that. We will definitely be back because the park like setting and all hook ups were tremendous. Kudos to owners and staff for their hard work, and dedication to this truly updated campsite. We felt it as soon as we were checking in at front desk. Oh, we also have 3 small dogs. They enjoyed the activity center in the large dog run.”

“Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Had a fantastic time with my beautiful granddaughters. The cabins were spacious, clean and organized. Walking the trails was worth the effort. The only thing that I didn't like...the pool doesn't open until Wednesday. It's a very nice pool, we did enjoy it. Great place for the family to have quality togetherness time.”

“Great park with lots to do. There are tons of trails and they are mostly shaded. There is a paved bike trail and lots of pavilions. I have started to frequent this park a lot, for the shade and the many different trails.”

“I'm not sure what changed this summer but I feel like the park staff finally got a good grip on handling the summer rafter traffic. For several years it's been an absolute cluster every time rafting season starts, but now during peak days they have two attendants letting in traffic to the park through the gates instead of just one like in years past. They also have security down at the park most of the time during th summer now which is hugely helpful. And instead of using their big old baseball field for absolutely nothing they're now using it as a parking lot during summer. I'm very happy with how they improved the park this summer!”

“It's a smaller park area wise but still has a full playground with multiple slides. I like that it is right by the Rockwell library. Also a skatepark close by. I always liked Edgemoor Park because it's not too big and not too small! I'm sure visitors will enjoy it also. Me and my children always enjoy going there! We prefer sand or rubber for the ground hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but really a nice park to go to in general!😊”

“Our company was in need of some containers to transport our products and we came across Southern Container after several of the larger companies were out of inventory due to the shortages going around. Southern Container not only had all the items we needed in stock and ready to go, they were priced far better than their competition and were able to deliver the items the next day. We will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“Tons of rocks everywhere tons of them to climb over. Along with the suspension bridge it is tons of fun to walk over. And it is one of the best hiking spots in the triangle with tons of little streams that flow into the river with tons of those cute footbridges to cross over the streams. There are even a few swimming holes. It is a great spot to exercise any puppy.”
