“Not sure the Nature Center is worth the visit unless you're attending a function/theater program. Seems like a very large Metro park, well maintained & clean. We meandered on a trail, crossing French Creek a couple of times (which is larger than expected) & discovered the Picnic Area & Playground (which apparently has a separate park entrance & parking area). Should have taken a trail map with us as once on winding paths for awhile, we had difficulty understanding how to get back to our parking lot (actually asked 2 groups for directions).”

“We've snorkeled quite a bit and this experience was somewhat different but very enjoyable in its own way. Apparently it had been windy on the reef for the past few days so they chose to go to a more sheltered location where the visibility would be greater. We had two stops with one in the mangrove roots and one amidst an old coral reef. We found both fascinating, with a good number of different kinds of fish (generally small but we did see a small yellow ray). Part of the unusual aspect of the region is the water is extremely shallow which was fine for us but probably really good for beginning snorkelers. The small boat experience with only 10 people was also very special We really enjoyed Brian and Andrew's expertise and humor. Friends of our who went on a Fury snorkeling trip out of Key West had 40-50 people and though the snorkeling was decent, the guides couldn't tell them anything about what they were seeing. And 50 people off a boat is a lot! It also felt good supporting a National Park and the marine habitat. Only one criticism. When we got on the boat, they told us we weren't going to the reef and if anyone wanted a refund, they could get one. No one did, however it would have been better if we were told before we got there.”

“My kids love this park. We go here regularly. The atmosphere is chill. No karens anywhere. Kind of an unspoken place for life's lesser people. Everyone's super clean though. The park is super clean. I've never had to pick any trash up for my kids to play. The other kids have all been sweet hearts. I love this park lol”
