“A bit cold to hold a gathering in the covered space in October, however we were able to use the fireplace which helped. There are plugs for the cooking equipment so the event for about 30 of us was all good. After the rain, beautiful lake and surrounding woods.”

Parks & Conservation Resource

Address: 2200 E Lake Rd S, Palm Harbor, FL 34685, USA

Park

“No matter when I go, it's always peaceful here. There's a large, gated dog park, frequent grazing deer, turtles, intriguing birds and insects and watch out for gators! There are large picnic shelters, public restrooms, a boat launch (fees apply only there) and a butterfly garden. Most of all, there are trails with wonderful nooks and crannies to explore and a beautiful observation tower overlooking the park. It's my Zen spot.”

Fountain Hills Desert Botanical Garden

Address: 11300 N Fountain Hills Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, USA

Park

“Beautiful trail with not many people. More natural than a curated garden but with lots of signs explaining the plants and land features. Has lots of really pretty granite rock formations. Trail is short and can be done pretty quickly, although the paths are windy and rough in spots so if you have trouble walking it might not be a good trail despite it being tagged as easy. Expect more of a pretty trail hike than a curated garden.”

Hannabrook Park

Address: Hannabrook Park, 5815 Brookridge Blvd, Everett, WA 98203, USA

Park

“A quiet unassuming park, with dog walking, or jogging paths. A basketball court, and a play area for kids. Never over busy. Good place to eat lunch, or check your email.”

Glencoe Paddle Access

Address: 2348 Glencoe St, Burlington, NC 27217, USA

Park

“Access to the Haw River Trail and to the Glencoe Historic District. This is probably one of the better sections of the Haw River Trail in my opinion. Of course access for river paddling too. The river moving west has a dam in Great Bend Park so you can't paddle beyond that. The river moving east you can paddle for miles. This access has a gazebo, signage about the river accesses, and parking for about 15 cars. Gated so look at the posted hours. Trash cans here but no bathrooms.”

Vapor Connection

Address: 6109 S Cooper St #131, Arlington, TX 76001, USA

“First time at this shop and I am satisfied. Tim and Diego gave excellent customer service. I will be back again. Thanks Tim and Diego. Oh, and the recommended juice is yummy which is saying something because I rarely ever switch from my regular flavor.”

Exploration Park

Address: 13901 North Point Cir, Mill Creek, WA 98012, USA

Park

“Perfect park for toddlers and young kids. Only downside is little shade in the summer except in the tunnel. My daughter and her friends love playing in the natural environment here”

Woodlawn Cemetery • Crematory • Conservancy

Address: 4199 Webster Ave, Bronx, NY 10470, USA

Cemetery Funeral home Park

“One of the most beautiful and well-kept cemeteries I've ever stepped foot in. A number of famous people rest here for eternity, including Miles Davis (who has the largest headstone I've ever seen), Dorothy Parker, Herman Melville, Irving Berlin, and Bat Masterson. We walked through and found everyone we wanted to see to pay our respects. People do need to slow down driving through here as it is a place of reverence. We literally saw a car going too fast, hit either a pylon or gravestone, back out quickly, and kept driving. Be sensible! These are peoples' loved ones!”

Garden Millennium

Senita Community Park

“It is a nice neighborhood park. There is a covered playground for the children, a covered area with a picnic table nearby and an outdoor grill. There are some benches also around the playground. The large grass area is great for the children to run around and have some fun. There is a higher traffic road nearby but far enough from the playground to be safe.”

Windward Sports Park

Address: 2001 Lake Windward Dr, Alpharetta, GA 30005, USA

Park

“Nice little neighborhood playground. Fun for kids. But it seems to be a private park … see the “no trespassing” on the gate and feel nervous during the kids play. Probably would not come back.”

Fred Howard Park

Address: 1700 Sunset Dr, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689, USA

Park

“Nice big long beach. Concessions are available. Chairs and umbrellas may be rented. Quick drop just off the beach or I would have given it a higher rating. Parking was a nightmare. Beach was very busy. Had an enjoyable day. Will go again hopefully when not quite so crowded!”
