“This place is beautiful. A tiny, wonderful oasis. “Linden Orchard was formerly the site of an apple orchard. This beautifully landscaped park includes a large lawn, a P-Patch community garden, new fruit trees, edible landscaping, a neighborhood gathering place with benches and a picnic table, interactive features for children's play, and an extraordinarily charming tool shed.””

“I went on walks here a lot as a kid and it was just okay, I recently returned and my gosh! They have really taken care of the place. The flora is nicely maintained, the path is a paved trail and crosses many picnic tables and grassy areas. It's not a particularly exciting walk and the view of the river is a little blocked, but if you are just looking for an evening stroll it's a lovely park. There's a lot of families that walk the park too, so it never gets too secluded.”

“It was such a great surprise! It is beautiful, peaceful and really made me feel on the beach! The sand was so welcoming and the water temperature was perfect! The kids that normally don’t want to swim we’re tempted to it. We paid $10 to get in, it worth it! The bathroom was clean. The trail to the volleyball court was clean too. We had such a wonderful time! I didn’t want to leave! The grills were in use, and the people there were friendly!”

“Love this park! Discovered it through a friend's birthday party for their daughter. Two great play structures. One is the biggest I have seen with three stories. They have a fantastic water play area during the summer. Huge fields for soccer and football and whatnot. Clean bathrooms and lots of parking. Couldn't ask for more.”

“This is a great place to take out your paddle board! There were quite a few people when we came on a Sunday, but it's better than the swimming spot. I highly recommend you come out to Martha lake if your are looking for a good swim spot. You can bring small children, although the parking isn't great. overall a perfect place to spend your afternoon.”

“Rosebud is located in a very nice, older, very quiet residential community. Straight out of the mid 1950's. Surrounded by mature trees on 3 sides, well maintained, with playing field, basketball court, nicely equipped children's play area, and several covered areas with covered picnic areas with cooking grills, and a paved walking/running track around the perimeter. Felt very comforting being there, just watching the world go by. The 2 major drawbacks were there are no restroom facilities and the only parking is curbside along Rosebud Lane. It's my understanding that a covered family pavilion that would accommodate groups up to 100 people and restroom facilities is in the planing stages. Might make for a great place for oné of those old time family reunions. - Driver Jeff”

“In 35 years of marriage and thousands of miles of travel, my wife and I don’t remember a more relaxing month than the one we experienced at Buttonwood. Edie, the property manager, was beyond helpful and friendly. The facilities were well kept and extremely clean. My wife and I agreed that the bathhouse was always spotless...and that says a lot. We both love to fish, so the fish cleaning station was an added bonus! We were actually saddened to leave, and wanted everyone to know how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! Bravo, Buttonwood!”

“I don't like the cement divider in the middle of the ramp. I wish they would have better rubber cushioning around their dock for boat protection. They also need to remove big huge Boulders right next to the pier because you can't pull your boat in unless you want a hole in the bottom. Otherwise it was nice to have the amenities of a washroom. The parking lot is rather small as well. However, it is the only other free boat launch in the nearby vicinity other than the Bass Pro Drive which is totally overcrowded and almost inaccessible on the weekend. So thank you so much to Terry Park recreation department for providing this for the Public's use. Appreciate it.”

“We love this park! It is very long so it can be hard to keep track of multiple kids. The walking ramp goes all the way through from one end to another - but there are several high ways to get on and off so beware for younger kids who might try to be adventurous beyond their skill set. It is easier to walk up on the ramp with them than to try and climb up before they try to climb down.”

“We grew up we called this rocket Park and so with the kids today we still call it rocket Park but it's John Ward Park and it has always been a really fun park in the whole area kids can create quite imagination with that playset you can crawl in the rocket kids just have a lot of fun there I guess maybe I have a lot of fun there too it brings back a lot of good memories I would bring your family there it's a good place there's a church across the street you can have picnics there they have covered shelters they have a skate park right by it and they also have bathrooms there good family environment area”

My family have been going to Huber's farm for four generations, we enjoy the feeling and experience of the place. I'm glad when it sold they didn't go to commercial yet. “Wilde Lake Park is around the corner from my home, and I've frequented many times, but I am finally leaving a review. This park is not only a beautiful place, but a serene one as well. I find peace and serenity each time I frequent it. Often times I see people jogging, eating, and even enjoying each others company on the park benches. I've yet to encounter a negative experience at this park, and each encounter I have with people there are always pleasant. This will forever be my go to park!”
