“Animal Care Center of Fairfield became our dog Cookie's veterinarian in 2018, when she was 13. Since then Cooke has been treated for multiple ailments by multiple doctors there. They all were excellent. Always explained the condition and options, and helped us make informed decisions. When it was beyond them, they referred us to specialists. Since 2020 we selected Dr. Rachel as Cookie's vet, and she has been phenomenal. She is patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. She has a collaborative approach where she explained everything, and asked us to select what is best for us (and Cookie). During every visit, she took at least 20 minutes to answer our questions and always returned our calls promptly-often staying back after her hours. When Cookie got terminally ill, Dr. Rachel was an asset, a pillar of strength to our family. Finally when we had to let Cookie go, she and Ashley were there with us in their professional roles, but we felt like we had two additional family members. Everyone at the Animal Care Center was there for us and we are thankful to all of them. If I ever have a pet again, I would entrust that pet with Dr. Rachel and Animal Care Center of Fairfield.”
