“I chose Physical Therapy Center of Excellence based on 3 criteria: they were part of my healthcare network, the location was close to home and the website provided detailed information and bios. My first visit was very positive and everyone was super-friendly. I met with Rick and he explained in great detail (much more than my foot doctor did) exactly what the damage was to my tendon and foot, as well as what his recommended plan for rehabilitation would be. Coincidentally, Rick had suffered the same injury years earlier so he was able to speak from his personal experience. The facility is extremely clean and inviting with large windows letting in lots of cheery sunlight. As the weeks progressed, I accepted the fact that it would be a stubborn recovery and charged forward during each visit in an attempt to get myself healed quickly. Rick is fantastic at figuring out how much to push without going too far but still getting as much benefit from each exercise as possible. On days when I didn’t work with Rick, I’d work with Karin, who is just as terrific as Rick. As a practice, they are very committed to training upcoming therapists and I also had the opportunity to work with an incredible intern named Deirdre who was there for 10 weeks during my 12-week program. While I hope I don’t need physical therapy again any time soon, I can say with 100% certainty that the only place I’ll go when I do need it is back to Rick, Karin and the team – I would strongly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a personal and results-oriented physical therapy experience.”
