“I received very skilled help for my balance issues concerning my problems descending and ascending stairs.I liked that I received detailed exercises to do that included sheets of exercises with pictures of the exercises. Alyssa Williamson PT was very helpful and an excellent PT who explained to me why I was weak in some areas and why the exercises would help the muscle.”

“I'm Debra Torto-DiScipio and I'm writing in response to Deborah DiScipio's (ex-sister-in-law) poor review of Care One at Essex Park. I'm the Health Care Proxy for both my in-laws who are residents at Care One at Essex Park. I have been extremely pleased with the care they're getting. The memory unit staff are very attentive to my in-laws needs. When my mother-in-law banged her eye on the bedside table the staff called me immediately and let me know and they had her seen by the medical staff immediately. I think it looked worse than it was. Realistically, the staff can't be expected to have eyes on all residents every minute of the day. My family members obviously have very little knowledge or understanding of what these memory unit facilities deal with daily. Caring for 52 residents simultaneously may yield odors on occasion but overall the housekeeping. nursing and support staff do a very good job. After visiting 18 facilities, and getting recommendations from friends for Care One, we placed our in-laws at Care One at Essex Park and are very pleased with our decision.”
