I have high praise for Mike Cote. He worked with me and put up with my bad jokes, knowing that I’m one that laughs when nervous and in pain. He is empathetic but knows when to push to get results. “I worked there 20+ yrs ago and yes the building was old then & needed to be modernized to match the current society's living environment, but that did not make or break Cori Manor. We worked hard there. The staff loved the residents & took great care of them. It didn't matter that we didn't have a big fancy building, we had what was important & that was compassion, kindness, love, & consistency. We had good leaders that were on the floor & helping out when needed, and we had a low turn over in staffing because people enjoyed working there. All homes have issues, if you have a good group of ppl to care for the residents, you've got it made... be thankful for that... appreciate what's important, if Cori Manor is still open & providing care 20+ yrs later, that says alot to me...there are standards that have to be maintained, Give them the credit they deserve. Woo Hoo for Cori Manor!!”
