“As new residents of NW Idaho Springs, and having purchased a home without a mailbox, we needed a lot of coordination to get our mail affairs in order. Karen and our mail carrier, Eric, were so helpful in helping us clear the hurdles, and even secured an abandoned mailbox we could use. Eric then reached out to me directly the other day to advise there was mail in our “new” mailbox, concerned we might miss it/not know it was being delivered already! There were a lot of reasons we moved from suburbia to I.S., and seeking a more personable, interconnected community was a primary one. I freaked out of course being that I have done this once before and the resident in Karney kept my 150$ package with clothing and shoes. Yes I’m still crying about it!!!
