“Had my first Waffle House experience when I was down for a wedding in late September 2023. The very friendly waitress told me for first time I had to get waffles. Well, that's what I wanted anyway! Then she said no honey, you have to try the flavored waffles. She had me at chocolate peanut butter waffles. I also got a side of hash browns, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were very good, I expected no less. The eggs were good. The bacon cooked perfectly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Considering how slow things move in the south the Waffle House is the exception. Everything came out hot, fast, and delicious.”

“I had lunch on the patio at B's On the River in Watertown. I could watch people golfing from where I sat. The jalapeno cream cheese wontons were delicious. The Thai chicken wrap was good. Unfortunately I did not care for the blueberry crumble dessert, it's menu description made it sound amazing. The atomosphere on the patio really bumped up the star rating for me.”

“Barbacoa and Birria in Las Vegas...what?! 😎 Not one of the reasons most visit Sin City, but if you're in town craving some Mexican other than tacos and enchiladas...give it a try! Let's start with the joint...SUPER traditional spot with a lively rancho feel and atmosphere. Lots of lively color and music to set the tone! Service is on point. Waiters are super friendly and attentive. House specialty is the Barbacoa. Normally, I try the house specialty to see if they stand up to their advertisement, but this time, I was feeling the Birria, so we dove into that... The birria did not disappoint 👏 😁 Ordered a combination that comes with beans, rice, and salad. Portion was ok. Tbh, I expected more considering the price. But any more, and I would have had to be barreled out, so it was just right 😅 Also ordered the Mango Margarita...a Def must try if margaritas are your thing. The menu is decent and varied, which is great for repeat visits. Price is a bit more relative to portions and overall experience, but then again, it is LV, so we deal with it. On the downside, one of my beliefs is that any place that can't get the basics down correctly is usually not a good sign.... Case in point...Chips and Salsa. Doesn't get any more basic than that...it's a tone setter. I've never tasted cardboard, but if I had it, it would probably taste better than the chips I was served. It was a bummer to begin with, but I remained positive. That said, it definitely made a difference when it came to me ordering the guacamole. At $11 for guacamole, I couldn't even imagine having guacamole on cardboard, so that was a hard no for me. Maybe it was me, but you have been warned...see for yourself 👀🤷 All in all, Casa Tlaquepaque was a decent experience and a change away from the norm in Vegas, which was good. So check it out! “Large variety of actual food, not just "bar" food. Food came quicker than expected. 4.5 stars, only because condiment's missing. Fish wrap didn't have tarter sauce like menu said, but was otherwise very well cooked and put together; came with generous portion of fries. Pretzel bites were perfect! Also ordered bologna sandwich that was very plain, could have used cheese? They did provide mayo on the side after we asked. Seemed like staff was having a hard time keeping up with full glasses; however, there was a very large group of folks in the dining room, reunion or something. There was live entertainment that kept patrons engaged. Overall, nice place, will return.”

“Mountain Mike's Pizza is a great pizza restaurant in the Sacramento area. This was our first visit to Mountain Mike's Pizza, and we were totally impressed. The pizza restaurant was clean, well maintained, tables were neat and set well, and staff were helpful, curteous, and professional. They off a wide variety of other menu items besides the best pizza around! They have a game room for the kids, televisions around to watch the game, and an area you can reserve for larger parties. “This is the best pizza place around! Better than pizza hut, domino's, little ceasars, and every other pizza I've had in my life. This truly tasted like home cooked pizza from scratch. “Excellent experience. Our server, Jodi represented the company better than most managers could. She described the menu in detail so we knew what we would get with our order. With that, we ordered the Scholarship Burger with a side of Gumbo and a Shrimp Po’ Boy. Jodi updated us while waiting for our lunch and refreshed our drinks. As the photos show, the food looked amazing when it arrived and everything tasted good except we felt that everything had a bit too much salt. The burger looked much larger that the 1/3 lb. that the menu said. The meat was seasoned and had a brioche bun. The Gumbo had great flavor. There were plenty of shrimp on the Po’ Boy and we took Jodi’s advice in buying the ‘whole’ sub because it was only $1 than a ‘half’ sub. We took the rest home. Then we got the Doughnut Bread Pudding. WOW! It must have been 4000 calories. But who cares; it was amazing! Good thing they put that whipped cream on top. This is a great restaurant and without knowing the possible issues during a sporting event, I highly recommend it. We will be back.”

There was a very nice employee that welcomed me with a warm smile . I came in asked for a recommendation and the employee recommended an avocado BLT. “There is a little parking lot but only couple spots and they’re usually taken. But found a spot outside fairly quickly. There are no reservations. So we came as a party of 3 and inside wait time was 2 hours. To sit outside was 1 hour but there are a ton of mosquitoes outside. Was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was amazing the server had knowledge about the menu and was very personable. She gave really good recommendations and the portions were a good amount. I loved the mussels they had so much flavor. Pasta and sauce was very flavorful. This place was highly recommended and I can see why. I would definitely be back”

The food portion is big and it can be easily shared by two people. The food felt light and filling. Every item on the vegetarian combo was freshly made. “The restaurant is really quaint with southwest decor. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love a lot of the burritos here but today I had the Cheese Enchiladas. Excellent!! They replaced the Coca-Cola “select your drink” machine (which was horrible as it never had the mix of the drink right) with a regular soda dispenser. Much better, easier, and quicker. The salsa bar is probably the best in the area. Such a wide selection and made fresh. You will not be disappointed eating here.”
