“Wait times to be seated and to receive food were pretty extensive, but we weren't in a hurry. Food was delicious! I order the Pot Stickers, Ancho Apple Pork Chop and a couple of Peach Margaritas. We never got our side salads with our meals, so they were comped and they still gave them to us to go! This particular pork chop is really thick, so it took roughly a half hour or so to cook. I felt it was worth the wait. The atmosphere and view were great as well. Will go back!”

“First time visiting Red Hook and the food was amazing, the customer service not so much…The guy taking our order wasn’t friendly at all and we couldn’t really understand him. I asked could I order some oysters to go and he said they don’t have them as a to go item, but the young lady who was assisting him suggested I order them and eat them at the bar while we waited for our food, she was very sweet and welcoming. So I took the young lady up on her offer and went to the bar, the bartender wasn’t very friendly either, she saw me but was hesitant to speak. I ordered the oysters and a strawberry peach margarita, everything was delicious but the service. Hopefully the next time we visit the customer service will be much better!!”

“I may shower this fine institution with praise, but much to my chagrin, my high esteem has been shattered ever since I made the decision to request the Caramel Crumble milkshake on my subsequent visit. This proved a horrible blunder—and a clever piece of advertising. As much as I had, upon first impression, ardently respected the toil of the employees (particularly following the deliverance of my Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fruit Cup—an excellent companion to the signature dipping sauce, take my word for it) the milkshake I received was a let-down. Their marketing team is no doubt crafty; the expected cherry on top was nonexistent, the whipped cream flaccid, and the much-anticipated caramel crumble tasteless and lacking Chick-fil-a’s signature texture. I can’t say I’ve been more disappointed since the McDonalds Quarter Pounder with Extra Cheese lacked the superfluous dairy that I had banked on. Altogether a disappointment. From now on I will be terminating my monthly donations to this (not so fine) institution.”

“To start, the food choice I had for dinner was a flat iron steak with a small garden salad. The salad was very nicely presented and good to eat with the balsamic vinaigrette and getting the medium rare flat iron steak was presented with the right temperature although the flavor was barely there in freshness. Going for the vibe of the place, I was met with some other customers around their 60's who lived around the area on the 27th of February and although I tried to make small talk, it didn't avail much and if you're usually alone, it's best to enjoy the food with those whom you know. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and the vibe which I sensed was very calm and an overall positive atmosphere. In conclusion, the area was clean, the server was friendly and the food in which I give my verdict, is around 4 stars rating because of feeling the steak could be better prepared with some ingredients of crushed garlic and the usual salt and pepper if massaged into the steak. But for the restaurant? They're great! I would definitely look forward to seeing them again.”
