My starch made loaded potato soup and salad was a bargain for $7 - even the unsweetened iced tea was cheaper than the fountain drinks. The owner is putting some heart into what he makes. Don't expect to have it ready in a jiffy- each meal I made to order. This is what every neighborhood needs- a wide variety of draft option, a barkeep with a vast array of hard liquors and Great food! I placed a mobile order, and the store did not give me one of the items ordered in the family meal. After getting home and unpacking my order, although everything was labeled correctly, I was given extra fried rice instead of the teriyaki chicken ordered. I called the restaurant, but there was no answer. I took a picture of everything and let my kids eat. I drove back to the restaurant, where I waited in the pickup area almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I was given the teriyaki chicken. Well, over 35 minutes later, of course, everything else was cold.”

China Tokyo and Wendi at the front counter are always friendly and my favorite part is that they always get my order exactly as I like it! China Tokyo is fast and has great price points with quality food! This has been my go to restaurant for just under a year. On my second order they got it wrong and then again on my third order. I talked to them and told them in a very friendly and polite manner that I would love to continue doing business with them but was particular about getting my order the way I requested and for certain items to be left out of my dish. They were very receptive and since that time, almost one year ago, my order has never been wrong. For local Asian cuisine I highly recommend China Tokyo!”

However that's largely because the environment and atmosphere more than make up for it. Local Cafe Fremont as a sprawling karaoke set up, and an excellent selection of beverages all lined up on these massive fridges against the wall. They also have a claw machine (that's a little rigged in my opinion). The food is wonderful and authentic. Especially love their afternoon tea options. They are a good example of casual authentic cantonese, South-Chinese cuisine.”
