“I'm glad 🙂 I stopped at Angelo's Pizzeria for lunch 🥪 while working in Malverne today! The staff there is indeed great, providing fast service for both takeout and dine-in options. Their excellent selection of food is definitely a highlight. We had the restaurant to ourselves which concerned me because we can't let this place go out of business! We got the Fufu and grilled fish. Both were a little spicy but amazing flavor. “I love it when I have a story behind a restaurant. I was on my way back to Thomasville from Winston and kept thinking. I wish there was something else in this area as far as a restaurant. I was really in a burger mood. I know about Cagney's which is great .. I worked hard this morning and really didn't want to wait until I was all the way back to Thomasville to eat. So when I was in the direct epicenter of where, I wanted to find a place. I saw a strip mall kind of back and up to the left. I thought the odds are small of something being in this place. But I've never been up here, so I'm gonna look. Sure enough there was a Thunder Road bar and grill. I had my apprehensions since I am a non drinker. But I guess the bar part is just open on. The bar part is just open evenings? So I wondered in this sharp but slight Is little sandwich shop. I was impressed the minute that I walked in the door without cleaning it was. The waitress was very prompt, friendly. Courteous and glad to answer my questions. And in a reasonable amount of time, I was served a true chargrilled burger on a brioche bun. Really nice. And they were happy to give me a salad instead of french fries. And I was happy to find out that it was true homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. This was a really nice experience and a really good fast meal. Again, this is another one of those. I would love it if there was a 4.5.... I will be back. I really loved the taste of the burger. OH! My meal - salad and drink was less than ten dollars!!!!”

They claim their cash register won't do substitutions. I don't eat fries so I ask to substitute tater tots. I receive both, and I am billed for both. Never saw this at any other DQ ever. You do yourself a disservice ordering small pizzas, you want the GIANT pizzas sizes because they are that good!
