“If you've ever walked past this place, like we did, and thought to yourself, "oh, just another pizza parlor." I hate to tell you this but you're SO wrong! My people and I walked by the doors thinking what you thought until, one day, we decided to give it a shot. We were short on time and needed something fast so we got a couple slices and some drinks. We were instantly hooked. The pizza was fantastic but we also found out they have SO MUCH MORE THAN PIZZA! (hence, the name, Pizza & More, we discovered.) We started coming by during my wife's lunch because her work is close by. Lola made us feel right at home from the very beginning. She was always friendly and was extra with the service but, more than that, she talked to us like we were long time friends. We started sampling the other items on their menu. It was the cioppino that hooked us. I asked for it with veggies instead of noodles and they were very accommodating. I'm not Italian at all, as far as I know, and this was how I imagined it would taste in your gramma's coastal Italian villa. I ate the entire thing! My wife and her other hubby had another one between them. We were flabbergasted with how delicious it was. So much so we went back the next day to have it again. And the day after that. And the day after that. This continued for about a week, then we went on vacation but as soon as we got home we went and got the cioppino again! (My mouth is watering as I write this). Their chefs, Jair and Manolo, are freakin' amazing! They all remember our specific dietary restrictions and are very accommodating with our changes so we can eat their food. After working our way through their menu and the specials (which change frequently and keep us coming back for more) we began to make more and more outlandish requests and THEY NEVER TOLD US NO! We even went to celebrate my wife's passing her nursing test and we asked ahead if we could do something really special. Enter 2 massive tomahawk steaks and fresh veggies! OMG they were beautiful. We found it hard to go back to our favorite steakhouse when one of my kids requested it for their birthday. We go to Pizza & More quite frequently these days (sometimes 2+ times in one day) because the people are absolutely phenomenal, the food blows our mind every single time, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Sometimes we even ask the chef to surprise us and we've gotten something new and delectable each time. Every dish has been fit for royalty. Do yourself a favor and stop walking past and go inside. You won't be disappointed. And if you're sitting there and you see something not on the menu being taken to a table of 3 adults (and sometimes a couple kids) who are experiencing a Pavlovian response in anticipation... that's probably us being extra. “Amazing quality & fresh VEGAN food! #18 is the vermicelli bowl w/2 spring rolls - which has chopped lettuce underneath the rice noodles (so it looks like a lot. FYI, getting extra food in a Chinese restaurant is awesome & a blessing!!!) This dish was served with vegan fish sauce! (*I tried asking for the secret recipe & was denied 🤣). My mom wanted the tomato-based soup w/noodles, which was delightful! I really like the house-made tofu because they tasted like fish cakes! We had spring rolls w/peanut sauce (because we requested to it instead of fish sauce) and that was light & flavorful too. I ordered the #6 which the pan fried thick rice noodles w/veggies - this has been my favorite! (Sorry I didn’t include a pic…I ate it too quickly!) Overall, the staff is friendly & knowledgeable of vegan food. I think the prices are very good for unique, tasty, & fresh VEGAN food! I would come back again ❤️”

“We thoroughly enjoyed the food but the staff and appearance of the restaurant put us off a bit. We ordered quite a selection for lunch which turned out to be enough for dinner as well. Ordering online was easy enough and our meal was ready in a short amount of time. As mentioned above, it was the staff and restaurant that was a bit off. Our meal was packed in paper bags, plastic containers, and stuffed in a plastic bag. Based on all of that, I thought we would definitely be disappointed in our meal. However, the food was so good that it offset my initial impression. We ordered two (2) vegetable samosa as we were not sure how many came with each order; there were three per order for us. They were still warm, crispy, came with sauces, and had good flavor. Unlike some samosas I've had, these were completely filled with the potato and pea mixture. We shared the Aloo Chat which we thought was the best tasting dish with the mix of yogurt, tamarind, and mint sauce. Our soups were good but nothing fancy. We had the coconut soup which had quite a bit of fresh coconut but seemed light on the beshamel. The Mulligatawny soup was surprisingly a smooth bisque. We saved our entrees for dinner which were Chicken Dopayaza and Chicken Vindaloo. Both were good and flavorful with large chunks of tender chicken. I highly recommend the Dopayaza with its tangy tomato sauce. Don't let the appearance of the restaurant or the gruffness of the staff stop you from trying Jewel of India because their food is good!!”

Mango lassi was the best I would say. The paneer makhni was too tangy and tasted tomato all over. Dal tadka was slightly watery and could be thicker. Good place for a quick bite. Server and bartender were both very nice and attentive, but food service from the kitchen was pretty slow (ordered three apps, plus a couple of burgers, which clocked in total service time to about 1hr 20 minutes). That being said, the fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese balls, and the frog legs were a big hit with the adults and the children (and the frog legs were MASSIVE, so be hungry, but we're very tender/juicy). Also the burgers with the pimento cheese were very well composed and had a great overall flavor profile. Definitely a fun bar to grab a drink, in addition to their above average food/fare.”

“The website describes this place perfectly. It is a "casual, laid back atmosphere with an upscale twist." First time diners here, my husband and I went for dinner and were seated in a big, comfy booth right away. We ordered the Artichoke Spinach Dip with toasted ciabatta bread as an appetizer - it had good flavor and was chunkier with generous portions of artichokes than some other dips. My husband enjoyed the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with JoJo fries (with house ranch on the side, so good that we ordered some extra to take home!). I had the Angry Pasta, and after the first bite I said, "Yep, that pasta is angry!" If you like spicy food, you'll love this dish. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, on top of refills, and waited to put in our dinner order until we got our appetizer, which made for a great experience! The prices here are reasonable considering the value for the money. It was a pleasure dining here, and we will be back.”
