“I always pass by when purchasing a coffee from Donut Plus, today I decided to come here for my lunch. I ordered two carne Asada and 2 Carnita tacos 🌮 I got a flan and a 1/2 Coca Cola. It was $18.25. In total I tipped $1.75 so I paid $20.00. It was really yummy double tortilla tacos, the meat was yummy too. The salsas i got red and green the red is better gives you a good taste. Also the flan not my favorite but it was okay.”

“I've been a Corner House patron for 30 years. Their new location on the Racine harbor has tremendous ambiance', together with the same attentive service and delectable menu featuring the finest prime rib I've ever had. My only beef -- pardon the pun -- are the menu prices, which have jumped into the exorbitant range. Disappointingly, the prices published online aren't accurate. Actual prices were about 20% higher than published on our visit today, and staff was unapologetic when we called the discrepancy to their attention. Candidly -- and it pains me to say this -- there are lots of more affordable fine dining options in this region, and it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon.”

“Ordered a sausage, green pepper and onion the other day (around 5:30pm) and firstly the service on both the telephone and in the store was great, very personable and friendly. The pizza was delicious! It is a thin crust and there was the perfect amount of a slight bit of bite and crust to the base (it wasn't a big old soggy sock pizza!) and I almost lost a tip off my finger it was so good, which is both my opinion and that of the wife's. That will also explain the half eaten food photos as we were hungry and forgot to take beforehand, sorry. The garlic knots.... What can I say? By far THE best garlic knots I've had in a very, very long time. Cooked perfectly and they came in a foil tray which was oozing with garlic butter and plenty of crushed garlic which is just the way I like it. Bravo. The photos don't do it justice... “I have no idea why this place is rated a 3. It was brought to our attention that a patron who was refused service due to alcohol intoxication was disgruntled and started to spam them with 1 star review (you can see it was around the same time 7 months ago.) Also, the staff at Hightower Pub were told to bash this establishment and spread rumors about the staff in attempts to sabotage their business. It’s really sad. I wouldn’t trust any of those reviews from 7 months ago that only have one review on their profile. The food and service are fantastic. The prices do feel higher, but post Covid times do that. Restaurants cannot survive without raising prices. The atmosphere is laid back and beautiful. I’m a picky, well traveled foodie and recommend this place to all of my friends who come out to Girdwood. The owner, Alexandra takes pride in her restaurant and staff, she makes it very apparent that she was grateful to make it through Covid times and to survive in this industry. I would highly recommend this place, don’t let the bad reviews keep you away. I have been here several times and do not have a personal relationship with the owner. This is an unpaid review of a place that I really enjoy going to and hate to see bashed on by immature people abusing social media.”

The Caesar salad was amazing the steak was tender and juicy and flavorful they made some type of bread I can't tell you what type of spread that is it was amazing the manager in the owner came by our table to speak to my mother they had a full-fledged conversation in Spanish so she was extra happy and they have amazing coffee they have amazing coffee lattes and those other drinks. Yesterday my family and I dined in for the first time in about 15 years, we only quit going because my son was a picky eater when he was little. The customer service was pleasant and professional, the restaurant very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The best Asian cuisine I’ve had in about….15 years, lol. Not only was the food fantastic, but the cost for feeding a family of 5, my two boys are over 6 feet tall as well as their dad, my sister and I, it was under $60. I think that’s the best deal we’ve had other than the Mexican restaurant we went to. Lots of food for a very decent price, especially nowadays with inflation. I highly recommend eating here.”
