He showed up on time and sent us a very thorough inspection report the same day. He answered all our questions and was very easy to communicate with. “Just checked in. So far, this is the best OCP resort I've stayed at. ( member resort ) Very clean, well maintained, no trash on sites, speed limit is enforced. Staff is friendly and helpful. My site is against the pond. Peaceful and quiet!!! NO ROAD NOISE!! MORE TO FOLLOW. Serenity at its best. WiFi is good. Verizon is fair.Waterpresure is 45 psi. Sites are level and not cramped. Sat TV is usable. Laundry is clean. No basic food available. NO PROPANE AVAILABLE. All services 15 min. Away. GREAT RESORT.”

“I live here and so does my mom. We love it. The park manager is very nice and strict. But has to be when over looking so many homes to keep things running smooth and nice and clean. I have seen a lot of parks where the manager just don’t care. This park I like how it’s key up and how some people care about their properties and fix them up.”

“Northern Detour (formerly Poplar Point) is a terrific place, if you're able to spend the summer season in an RV or are looking for a place for a month. It's quiet and peaceful here right on the little Poplar lake. Park owners are also wonderful neighbors from St. Croix Falls. It's a small jewel near the St. Croix river.”

“This is a nice friendly Park the maintenance man Billy is very helpful. The manager Joe is a good guy. The people making rude comments (Sarah Price) on here about the mobile home park are just making up things. They are being evicted from the park because they do not pay their rent and are angry!! Her and her boyfriend are no good they stoled an old womans car and are being investigated by the police for it. So don't believe everything you hear at this park is a nice quiet Park to live in.”

“The road is like driving down an off road course. I could imagine if you live there for an extended amount of time the suspension on an older vehicle might wear quick. There were dead tree limbs all over. It would make for a great movie location for an abandoned RV park, maybe zombies would walk out around a corner. I would be nervous to park my truck over night.”

“We stayed in a rented RV here Mon-Friday. We have decided it will now have to be a yearly tradition we loved it so much. My son is 11 and enjoyed all the park has to offer. The basketball court across from our campsite was an added perk. We all played on the inflatable obstacle course and had so many laughs and so much fun watching each other fall off. We did learn water shoes with some grip on the bottom are a game changer for the adults who get tired of slipping off. The slides were fun and the pool area was nice. The owners and staff are very kind. We locked ourselves out of the RV and the staff or owner, not sure which, came to see if he had a spare key to help us out. When that didn't work he told us about a place in town to try and they came out with a spare key and got us unlocked. The lake is beautiful and not at all busy during the week. We had a whole island to ourselves and plenty of room to pull kids tubing without any other boats coming around us. Definitely recommend!”
