“Highly accredited training center. Our Instructors have competed in competitions and won, many times. They pass that knowledge on to our apprentices, they then compete and win competitions. Along with my on the job training, if it weren't for the education I received in my apprenticeship here, I would not have been able to pass my State test 17 years ago, nor would I be where I am today. Thank You! I would highly recommend this well respected National Joint Apprentice Training Center.”

“My son has been going here for about 4 years. He's 5, didn't start school yet at an ISD because he didn't turn until later in the year. When he was in the younger classroom, he had a younger girl with so much patience who I believe has moved on since. When he was in the youngest class, we were lucky enough to have an older woman who was the extra grandma while you were at work. She ended up with breast cancer and I worry for her often, although I don't know her outcome. When my son went to the next class up 2-3 yrs or so, one of the teachers gave me parental advice (don't ask them. Tell them. LOL) from then on, even through the craziness of covid- I know there are people there who know how to be firm and gentle. Which I've still not mastered. Ms. Angela doesn't play if they are acting up. They do "think time" which we enforce or talk about at home. All-in-all... this place provides structure with developmental age grouping. Besides a few misplaced socks or clothing, I'm actually sad he won't get to be there full-time next year. They always have activities (pj day, snowcones, santa, easter egg hunts, etc). I've never had an issue that wasn't fixed by talking with the people that work there. ”

“I have never put my kids in daycare before, and of course I was a very worried Mama, and wasn't 100% comfortable with my kids going to daycare, and not with me all the time. Since they have going since February alot of my gears have settled. Their teachers are absolutely amazing, my sons loves going, it's one of his favorite places to go. My daughters teacher are amazing g with her. Jen and Tiffany are so understanding. The daycare it's self is so clean, and taken care of. Valley has definitely been a great experience for my family. ♡”

“I have three kiddos that attend North Star. My son started 8 years ago. We love it and feel at home here, as do all my kids. North Star has been a life saver because of their after school program. My husband and I haven't been able to take off work early to pick up the kids, but thankfully North Star picks up at the schools which saves a ton of stress. Send your kiddos here! The staff will love on them and take wonderful care of them. My only problem has been that my kids like their food better than mine!”

“I've been a member for years and enjoy being able to reserve a swim lane. However, the last few times I've been to the pool, it's been VERY murky with grime on the walls and accumulated brown grime at the bottom. I understand there are trees above that drop some natural debris, but a simple scrub by a pool cleaner every so often would go a long way. Still giving 4* since I'm confident this will be addressed and otherwise love the facility. I talked to another person who was leaving when I did and saying the same thing.”

I'm taking high school algebra honors in 7th grade. Next year I will be taking high school geometry. I absolutely love the school and everything about it! I have gone here for two years. It is my first public school. I went to a private school for 6 years in elementary school and I actually like nolan better than my private school!
