I had good teachers ( Mrs. Sparks) and the students were pretty nice!The school is larger and older, but with that comes experience and a variety of sports/clubs/volunteering to choose from. You can tell that the school actually cares about their students and look out for their best interest!”

“My children have been attending St. Joseph since preschool; this is our 7th year. The culture of St. Joseph (and we’re not even Catholic) is FAMILY - with high expectations for academic and behavioral excellence. They teach the whole child, and regardless of one’s faith or lack thereof, students will learn not only the broad and challenging curriculum - including how to write in cursive! - but simply how to be a good person and citizen, one who contributes positively to society. Yes, of course students can succeed in the public school system - I’m a product of that myself, albeit in Maine - but it is the culture and smaller environment of St. Joe that truly separates itself from a public school education. THAT, to me, is ultimately what I’m paying for, and I wholeheartedly find the investment worth it.”

Over the summer, my now 6th grader participated in the school's summer session and completed a diagnostic exam that initially placed her at a 3rd grade reading level. After a few weeks of working the program daily for just an hour a day, her most recent diagnostic placed her at a 6th grade reading level. And she was so excited and so proud of herself. “For the people burning this school, I have been here since 5th grade, and am currently starting my Junior year in IB, I would like you to know that the teachers don't suck, and the fact that you would say that is attrocious...the only thing that sucks about the school is the people who have bad attitudes about school in general. I believe that the education and the preparation you can receive from this school (because it does take the correct mindset for the student) is far greater than those of most schools in Idaho. The program is thorough and intense, and while we may have limited options, the classes we do have, are taught by outstanding teachers that have experience and can interact with a student on a personal level unmatched by a larger school.”

“First time writing a Google review but wanted to spend some time sharing how awesome these guys are! I came across the shop a little over a month ago and spoke with Fallon on the phone, who was incredibly helpful and patient for someone with zero diving experience. After having a one-on-one with her in the store, I immediately felt comfortable that this was the right team that I wanted to do my open water training with and signed up for my pool sessions on the spot. Fallon, Ryan, Hailey, Mark, and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in getting me set up with high quality gear from the get-go without also breaking the bank. I decided to purchase my own mask, snorkel, and fins on day one, with the option to come back and swap out any equipment that didn't fit well after the pool training sessions. Luckily, everything worked great and the pool trainings with Ryan were fantastic. The sessions were easy to schedule, and the facility was privately rented just for our group's pool dives. Ryan was patient, safety-focused, and overall a fantastic instructor. I had such a great experience that I decided to join the shop's weeklong Curacao trip to finish my open water diving certification without previously knowing any of the other divers, only knowing that Ryan was also running that trip. I just got back this past weekend and couldn't have had a better vacation. The trip was well-organized, the group was terrific, and the diving was incredible! In addition to finishing my SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification, I also came back with specialties in Nitrox, Night Diving, and Underwater Navigation. Ryan was extremely attentive during all of our training and an all-around fun group leader/instructor. I'll definitely be going back with SCUBA Network NYC on future diving trips and additional certifications/equipment as I grow my SCUBA experience! Thanks again!”

“What a treat! My sister Olga and I came in and had Phoenix and Ashley and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity! It was also my 18 year old sisters first time and she had such a blast! What amazing gals with such amazing talent compared to other places. The environment was so peaceful, soothing, and welcoming in their home. Never had such a good time anywhere else. Wanted to leave with all the gift certificates so my friends and family can experience a real massage and spa treatment. Also, they are so personable and welcoming. Their personalities alone draws people in and makes them feel naturally comfortable. Will be coming back again!”
