We misjudged the distance and amount of time it would take for my husband to walk our daughter out of the building and through the field to where the ceremony was to take place. “Our boys have been at St. Mary School now for 2 1/2 years and moving them from public school over to this school was the best decision we ever made! We toured multiple private schools in the area when making this decision and knew that St. Mary's was the perfect one for us! The staff and students/families are amazing, and we truly feel like part of a large family here. The curriculum is definitely advanced and my kids are challenged, and thriving here. In addition, they are learning important morals and values that seem to be lacking in other schools today. I highly recommend this school to anyone considering a private school or looking for more for their children!”

“We have 2 children attending Engleside School for the last 5 years. All I can say is the best school I could ever have picked for my kids. From the Secretary to all the teachers to Mr. Paddock the principal, it's been an incredible 5 years and every morning when I drop off my 5-year-old and my 11-year old I just want to give everybody a big hug and thank them for all they do. All the teachers and everybody who works there treat my kids like their own children. The curriculum that is taught is A+. My kids are learning at a very fast pace, at the same time they are not overwhelmed with too much homework. The only thing I wish is they went through all 12 grades. “We live in an area that has one of the highest rated high schools in this district but we chose to interzone transfer our youngest son here because he loves Chaffey High School, their JROTC program and the staff and administration. I was concerned being new to the area and it not being as “prestigious” as the other high school that we were zoned for but we are so thankful for this great high school and very happy our son chose Chaffey. It’s a hidden gem with mature, seasoned teaching staff and administration that care! The principal, Dr George Matamala is literally the best principal I have ever met. Our older sons attended high school at top ranked (and overpriced) private schools in Florida and I still feel that Dr Matamala is the best administrator I have ever seen do this job. He is an amazing leader, the staff is inspired to actually care and the kids in general love their school and him. The campus is beautiful, it used to be a college and is historic. Yes the area served in its zoning is not as new and shiny as some of the surrounding areas in the district but if a child wants to be successful, this staff is going to rally behind that child to give them every opportunity and support to make it there. You don’t get that in public school these days anymore. Heck you don’t get that at high priced private schools either! And if your child wants to get into mischief, the wrong crowd or throw away their opportunities, just like any other high school, there’s plenty of ways to do that here too. But hands down, I can’t say enough good things about this school and administration. Don’t believe any negative hype - this school and staff are amazing! If you’re child wants to succeed and you want a high school staff that goes above and beyond the call of duty.... Chaffey High School is the place. Go Tigers!”

“Beka is a one of a kind tennis coach! I feel very lucky that we found him when we first moved here and were looking for a tennis coach for my daughter. She has played tennis for years and has had a few different tennis coaches, but none of then were anywhere near as great as Beka!! Beka has taught her more technique in the last couple months than she learned before in all of her years of playing tennis !!! I have seen such a great improvement in her form and overall confidence in playing in such a short amount of time. Not only is Beka a wonderful coach, he truly is an amazing person who goes above and beyond to help each person learn to the best of their ability. My 2 boys also started taking the group lessons after their sister talked about how much fun they were. They are also having fun and improving. Beka is really great with the kids and also is also good at teaching tennis to all levels from first time beginners through advanced. Beka also does a tennis camp during the school breaks and al’ 3 of my kids love going and want to go every day it is available ! We love Beka tennis academy and highly recommend it!!”

“As a used to be student of this school, I say it's very nice. The staff is nice with a couple of acceptions and it is clean for the most part. The cafeteria food obviously isn't good, but I don't blame the school for that. I've went to this school sence I was in kindergarten and all of my teachers were nice except for 1 ( I will not mention names for the sake of that persons reputation) the one thing I would say needs room for improvement is the way they handle bullying. Ever sence 2nd I've been bullied and I've delt with the guidance counselor many times and she did help some, this help was not permanent and the discipline should have been different, unlike the middle school, who has done better in that department. Over all, this school is very nice, it is my childhood and I love it. I am not the first one in my family who went to this school because my grandma also went to it when she was my age, so as you can see this school has been here for generations and is doing its job quite well. All that being said, best of wishes to the staff at hickory elementary and thanks for teaching me, i miss you guys.”
