“I have had two children start their early childhood development with Summit Academy Flat Rock and my youngest will be graduating 8th grade in the next couple weeks. My family has been involved with all aspects of the school for the past 12 years. I am very thankful for the decision to enroll both of my children at Summit Academy. The staff is so prepared to teach with patience and understanding of all learning capabilities. The curriculum is currently preparing my sophomore son to begin AP (Advanced Placement) classes which will count toward college credits and with successful grades in these classes will place him in possible sophomore college credits to begin his college experiences. My daughter who is 4 years old has had such an improvement that is beyond my expectations her teachers take the time to teach one on one as she sometimes gets distracted and needs that extra attention. My son who is almost 2 loves going everyday to school and he loves everyone. The stuff is extremely nice and as a parent I feel very confident and assure to leave my children with people that care and love what they do and I know that my children are safe. “wow reading these reviews I’m extremely taken back . My son has been there for two years now and his uncle was a TA there for years . I only had great experiences with the teachers and staff members. Everyone communicates effectively. I’m notified right away when he was injured at school . The teachers work well with him he’s definitely learning . and far as the lunch yes I do send him with lunch every single day but I’m Personally fine with that cause it gives him the chance to make and pick his own lunch instead of only having one option that the school provides. Overall the last two years my son has had No complaints about his teachers ( and he’s very outspoken if he doesn’t like how he’s be treating) been at this school has been an amazing experience”
