“I was concerned about my son's reading ability and had him formally assessed at Mandarin Reading Clinic at the end of his 3rd grade year of school. He tested 2 grade levels below where he should be, although he was getting and "A" in his reading class at school. He worked with a Speech Therapist one time per week throughout the summer for 17 total sessions. He improved by two grade levels over the summer months and is now reading and testing at his grade level. As a parent, it is rewarding to see your child enjoy reading. Before his assessment today, my son said to me "Mom, thank you for taking me to the reading clinic. I really do appreciate it". He scored the highest grade in his reading class for the last two quizzes. He now has confidence in his reading. Thank you to the wonderful speech therapists who worked with my son. “Mustang has excellent Schools. I went there many....years ago, have had 2 children graduate from there, both easily continueing on to college due to an excellent education they received here, and have 2 more still in the school system. It is a large discrict, but still has that small town safeness and feeling. If you must send your kids to a public school you cannt hardly go wrong with Mustang School District.”

“A friendly neighborhood school. We have found the teachers and staff to be caring and good at what they do. My only wish is they had made the school a little larger during the rebuild. They re-purpose the gym for the cafeteria, for example, but with a little more foresight I think the space could have been use more wisely. For a town growing as quickly as Redmond is, LWSD needs to think ahead and the tax payers need to be willing to fund schools that meet the need 15-20 years down the road.”
