“This school creates some damn good swimmers. My lord they're good at swimming in the basement of Mitchell Hall at UWL. It may be dark there, but they find a way to swim in that dark pool. Golly, why does this town hate Minnesota Vikings fans to the point they stab them when their mascot IS the Vikings? That doesn't make much sense, but that's okay because of the quality swimmers this school pumps out. Skol Vikes”

They take care of every single student all the way up to think your child is the only one at school. Easy drop off and easy to pick up and smooth. “Great school overall. You can expect your child to be challenged and excel academically. Small class sizes is wonderful and leads to more small group and one on one if needed. Both my daughters attend this school and Ms. Liz and Ms. Judy are great teachers and work hard to help the students reach their potential. Ms. Natasha is an amazing teacher! She helped my daughter excel in reading and math and maintained daily communication with me regarding her progress (very hard to find in other schools) she is genuine and truly cares about her students. “Rada's child care was everything that I can wish for my kid. I visited many Daycares in San Ramon area and I was very disappointed until I found this one. Rada's Daycare has a huge playroom with a lot of light coming thru, great outdoor space, separate sleeping area and the most important things are that everything is very clean and organized. We tried two different places each for a couple weeks before this one and "separation process" in the morning was not an easy task. On the second day here my daughter just said "bye-bye" to me , "grabbed" Radka's hand and went inside. My daughter loved been there. I would highly recommend Rada's child care to anyone looking for a professional and loving caregiver for their child!”

“This place has been around for 40+ years for a reason. People who went here as kids have grown up and now send their children here because of the wonderful staff. They pour their hearts and souls into our children on a daily basis. Without fail, I’m greeted every morning with smiles and personal greetings from the office, teachers and the director herself...who sits at the front instead of hidden in some office. Anyone who thinks and writes reviews otherwise about the director must be touched in the head themselves. Especially if they’re former employees hiding behind yet another name change. We all know Steven Whitmore isn’t a real person on Whidbey with any interactions with the Center (it’s a small community). Anyways, there are staff who have been here for more than 15 years. Almost their entire staff has been at the center for more than 2 years, some 5 and others 10 years or more! I would hardly call that a high turnover rate. The South Whidbey Children’s Center is a wonderful place, academically challenging and very nurturing. I would highly recommend it as both a workplace and/or an enriching place to send your little, loved ones. My only complaint was with the decisions and demeanor of a particular staff member who no longer works there. Everything else is great!!”
