“Awesome school. Very nice staff and students. There are plenty of programs that help involve students and the teachers are in charge of the programs. The principal stands outside before and after school to sat hello and goodbye every day. The staff is always there to help when ever you have a question you need answered. Overall great school.”

“I love this school. My child has excelled since we enrolled him in CCAS from the regular public school. The teachers are happy and want to teach and it shows in the energy that they put into working with all the children. Band, PE, field trips and lots of extra activities to participate in are option also.”

“Can we talk about how multi-talented everyone at this shop is!? Yes, they havw crystals, but they also have services like Reiki, sound healing, medium sessions, meditation, tarot, and more! The herbal remedies, handmade items, and clothing are also fantastic.. I could go on and on! Every single person who works here makes the environment worth coming back! I'm a lifetime customer 💜”

“We have had our son in this school for a full year now and we’re thoroughly thrilled to have found this place. What a blessing to know your child is loved and challenged to grow in a structure setup. Our little big guy loves to come here and play with his friends. We even made some new friendships with other attending families along the way. Wonderful teachers, and a fun, inspiring and clean environment.”

“Great daycare! I was so nervous as a first time mom putting my baby in daycare at 4 months. It is always so scary. Lightbridge made me feel at ease and listened to all of my concerns. You have access to the cameras in your child’s classroom so you can always check in during the day. They also have a security system with facial recognition which makes it so easy for pick ups and drop offs (not to mention it just feels really safe). One thing you don’t find at daycares is the flexibility with the times if you choose a “school day”. This helped us out so much. All the teachers were fantastic. My daughter is now almost one and we had to move so she no longer goes there. We still miss it! Don’t think Twice, they are worth it.”

“Overall this place is an absolute hidden gem of Chicago. The dojo itself is a beautiful place to practice and quite possibly one of the best I've ever seen. But where this place sets itself apart, for me, is the roster of wonderfully talented students and teachers that train there. I'm constantly amazed with level of understanding that each teacher has, as well as their unique ability to communicate new ideas they've been exploring in their own practice. What I learn from this dojo exceeds far beyond what is taught on the mat. Very lucky to have the opportunity to train there and cannot say enough good things about the Chi-Kikai. (Chicago Aikikai)”

“Our son was crushed by online school during covid. Failed every class. Became incredibly unmotivated and got stuck. He just couldn’t get unstuck. Was sitting in a lot of shame from failing. Couldn’t turn away from the screen on his phone and mostly refused to get out of bed and go to school. His dad took him to visit Southern Prep and our son bravely said yes to going. He knew it would be a pathway to change bad habits - sleeping, excess technology usage and not completing school work. To date, he played on the football team and soccer team (is not a sports guy but loved participating) was, promoted to company commander in one year, got halfway thru getting his pilots license (will finish this summer), graduated with 2 college credits and made good friends at southern prep. He was also accepted to his dream aerospace college. We honestly can’t believe the difference in his confidence and motivation to succeed. The way he speaks and carries himself is so different. Nothing we could have done for him. He did this work by himself. Our son has always hated the mundane. Southern Prep is anything but mundane. He now knows now he can do hard things. He has thrived in this challenge. We are so grateful for this school and the opportunity to enroll. The people here genuinely care. They want nothing but to see their boys “handle business”. We would actually now consider this for our younger boys. SPA works to create men not wimpy boys who can’t get off video games and will forever live in their parents basement. The facilities and food aren’t great but that’s ok.... it will make them appreciate home that much more. The staff might yell at them a lot which I don’t care for but some boys prob need to be yelled at. And better there than in my house. Boys here are able to be a boys while growing into a man. Not addicted to screens. Playing outside and being free to be boys/young men. If you yelled at your son today for not getting out of bed, or turning off the video games and don’t know what to do next, call Jennifer and go for a visit. Quit enabling them at home.... trust me, I did it for too many years. Southern Prep will make your boy a man.”

“We are so blessed to get a spot for David here! It was well worth the wait. The christian based teaching is exactly what a child needs to help navigate their way through a difficult world. The earlier these values are introduced the better, and FB does just that!”
