“When your 98 year old Mother needs to close out her apartment and move to Skilled Nursing following a stroke, who do you call to move a lifetime of precious heirlooms and handmade oak furniture? The folks at the Senior Living Facility recommended Arrow Moving and Storage. What a GREAT recommendation! Chris and Lorenzo showed up on time for our scheduled move with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to help. They got down to business immediately, carefully padding and protecting some really special things we needed to move. Between Mother's family, friends, and the skilled nursing facility, there were four separate drop off locations. They carefully delivered each piece in excellent condition, even taking a few moments to help arrange furniture in the new room at skilled nursing. The unwanted items were dropped off a Goodwill for us. Chris and Lorenzo made a difficult day go so much better. We couldn't have hoped for a better move. I rate Arrow Moving and Storage at Five Stars. You can trust these people to handle your next move. Ask for Chris and Lorenzo, they were absolutely wonderful!”

“I chose Extra Space Storage because it was the cheapest and had many size options. It has more locations compared to other local storage companies. Signing up was quick and easy. I would prefer having longer access hours. My location only had until 7:00pm. Also there is less moving space for first floor units. If one cart blocks the way, there is no way the other can get around to move to the next unit. In addition, I would like it more if there was option to chose whether to get insurance or not instead of having to sign-up mandatory insurance with Extra Space Storage. My stuff did not have much valuable and I felt I didn't need to spend so much on the most basic insurance premium. Having said all that, I would still recommend Extra Space Storage. Thank you.”

“From start to finish, American Classic has been nothing but a pleasant experience. Their website is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, they have great online rates/deals, and their customer service is outstanding. Ms. Veronica (she is SO SWEET!) helped me every step of the way and answered all my questions. I always get nervous with anything that requires signing a lease or rental agreement because you always feel like there are hidden scams or fees in the contract, but not here. Everything is straight forward, and no hidden fees or scams as long as you're a decent human being and follow their simple guidelines (I mean, if you vandalize their property, you're going to get charged. Duh!). Once all my paperwork was signed, another very sweet lady, Joanne, personally showed me to my own storage unit (it was all the way in the back, so they didn't want me to get lost). I also love that they have multiple ways to make your payments (online, call-in, check, etc); it makes it very convenient for people who live far away. I'm very happy I found them when I was researching storage facilities because I can't imagine another company being as professional, helpful, and courteous as this one. I'm very happy, and it's been a huge stress relief as I transfer out of Portsmouth to Newport News. UPDATE: I had an emergency situation that caused me to need a bigger storage unit as I would not be moving to Newport News afterall. I went to American Classic and spoke to Ms. Veronica about my situation, and even though it was a very last minute thing, she was able to help me out and get me a bigger unit without any issues. It was an easy process transferring everything over, and I'm so thankful that Ms. Veronica was able to help. American Classic has honestly been a blessing, and they've lifted a huge weight off my shoulders as I go through a major life change! I appreciate them so much.”

“Decent park, great views, fair prices, almost NO amenities... Pros: This park has a decent layout, with spacious, flat, monthly spots. The park is clean, the pet area kept tidy, and the staff seem very nice and helpful. All in all, a pretty nice park for the area, or as nice as can be in a desert. Cons: Very dusty, limited to no amenities, no shade, and nothing really for the kids to do, and almost NO ONE obeys the 7mph speed limit. All in all, this is a decent park. We've been all over the country, and to find an RV park this set up and well run, is a really rare to say the least. The only thing I think this park needs is more family-based amenities. If it had a park or 2, with some swings, and maybe some activities, it would be perfect! But I get it, not all parks can be family parks...”

Although I missed the email for arriving 15 minutes or doing paperwork ahead of time and didn't read it until after my appointment, no one made me feel like I was behind. “This is the place where, as the worker explained to us, fish that come into our state, are stored and distributed from countries like Russian and China and other states like Alaska. He claimed they store thousands upon thousands of boxes and could see up to and probably more then 1 million fish! Unfortunately, I could not take pictures, bit you have to show your ID at the entrance gate. Also not easy to drive into, must take the half circle road there.”
