“This place is really handy. It's right next to the highway, by HEB and Walmart. I was staying at the Motel 6 across the bridge in Padre Island and they didn't have a coffee maker. So, I went to the Goodwill store and picked one up for 4 bucks. There were several to choose from along with clothes, painting and other kitchen stuff. The staff was really friendly and there is plenty of parking”

I have a high energy, high needs escape artist dog with lots of anxiety who has been kicked out of boarding other places for having too high of needs or being too much to care for. Fort Hyde takes such great care of him, always accommodating his needs without an issue rather than being annoyed or making us feel bad, always making my dog and my family very comfortable leaving our dogs here. Staff is very friendly and they really care about the animals here. I appreciate them so much.”

“I damaged my prop badly over the weekend. I called Delta Propeller while in the process of calling around for pricing. I talked to Doug of whom was very helpful over the phone. I told them that I had a difficult schedule so Doug went out of his way to meet me at the shop early in the morning so I could drop off the prop. When I got to the shop I also spoke with Brian. Brian went into depth regarding the welding and balancing needed to get my prop back to normal. Brian went above and beyond to get me taken care of! I received a quick turn around on my prop and Brian was even nice enough to install it for me. You don't really see many of these family business anymore that go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of. Don't waste your time calling around. These guys were really good and I couldn't have asked for more. My prop looks brand new again. Two thumbs up for Delta Propeller in Lodi, CA! Thank you Brian and Doug.”

“Brought my daughter's cadillac xt4 to mastic auto sound and they blew up the subwoofer enclosure and door speakers and wouldn't fix anything, Brought it to Shawn at unique who I have been friends with for 25 years and he fixed everything they destroyed and made my daughter so happy. I should have went there first but my son was friends with mastic auto sound and if they treat friends like that what would they do to you? I have Brought 4 cars to Shawn at unique and never had any problems and if you do have an issue Shawn will correct it without any problem. As to the negative reviews, my observation as to how staff are treated by customers is the likely reason. Yes, excellent customer service is critical, but that shouldn't mean staff have to tolerate abuse. I have personally observed staff being interrupted while assisting other customers, people trying to talk over front desk while a staff member is on the phone, others not wanting to wait their turn in line. Please be kind. They are very busy here. That should say something.”
