“On 12-17-23 we had a terrible experience at Hot Sauce Werks in St. Charles (specifically with Robert Palleja) so we decided to visit Pepper Palace which more than made up for the rotten visit elsewhere. The gal at Pepper Palace was incredibly friendly and very helpful. After signing their waiver she allowed my son to try the Flat Line Sauce which he was very excited to try. She also made up a concoction which included a sample of all the hottest sauces in the store, mixed with a horseradish, that he was able to try on a chip. I wish I knew the gals name that helped us out so I could call corporate and let them know how wonderful she was. Regardless, I gladly spent more money at this store last night because it was such a great experience. Thank you!!! P.S. We drove nearly 2 hours just to shop hot sauce stores and this place was well worth the drive.”

“Stopped in on a recent trip to Oklahoma for a restroom break for me and my dog. My wife went to exit our vehicle however she slipped and fell in the parking lot, the clerk, I wish I had gotten her name, came out to see what happened along with several of the customers, sorry no names as well, I was walking the dog and immediately they called me to the scene. The clerk attended to my dog while myself and a very appreciated young man in uniform helped my wife up. After the accident occurred we thanked everyone for the help and assured the clerk that everything was fine and she was ok. In this difficult time you never know how to act or approach people who are in need, this lady not only offered her a bottle of water but she told her to be careful and asked again if she was going to be ok. She told us to have a safe trip and we continued our journey. I only wish I had gotten her name, but to the wonderful and very much appreciated lady who was working Friday morning around 10 am January 15,2021 thank you very much for your response to this situation and thank you for your concern and compassion you expressed to my wife. To the owner and manager of this store, you have a very good employee who not only cares about her job and the customers who stop here she cares about the people! “I have not experienced in a very long time, the kind of superior customer service I just experienced with Eagle Valley Cutlery. Early this summer (2023) I purchased a Case folding knife online for my wife's birthday (which would be in December). It arrived quickly, I opened the package to see it was beautiful, and then hid it away until Dec. Unfortunately I didn't think to check the knife blade operation, because when she opened her gift both blades were very difficult to open. I was obviously way past the return window but I sent an email to the store asking if they had any advice on how to free the blades or if it possible to return the knife. They answered right away and were beyond friendly and helpful and offered to ship the knife back for free so they could find a resolution. I just received an email from them saying it appeared that during production the knife was not oiled because when they oiled it the blades started working properly. They offered us the option of keeping that knife or sending us a brand new. We took the offer for the new one and it will be on its way shortly. I will most definitely continue to shop with Eagle Valley Cutlery not only for their impeccable customer service but for their incredible inventory! Wish I could go there in person to try them all LOL. You will NOT be disappointed shopping with Eagle valley Cutlery. Thank you again so much Aaron!”

“Small family shop. Great service, quick and cheap. Jeremy and his family are very nice and go to great lengths to have the best customer service. A truly honest mechanic who does what you ask of him. He is also not pushy about services, and looks for ways to save you money. For example I bought a new car recently and had him give it a maintenance lookover. He identified all the issues and gave me my options not pushing services I could do myself like a new battery or other minor driveway maintenance items. I highly recommend him and his shop and will continue to bring my vehicles to him even if it is a bit of a drive for me. Oh did I mention cheap? He routinely charges me half time, don't expect it every time you visit but know he is more than fair about what he charges.”
