“The cabin was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen came with cutlery and silverware. The air conditioning, heat, and fireplace was great. The WI-FI didn't work though and the pool and hot tub was completely drained (I was really looking forward to using them). Also, many channels on the TV were unavailable so I had to scroll through them to figure out which ones we had access to and which ones we didn't (most channels are unavailable). It would help if they provided a list of channels we had access to. Overall it was a nice experience though.”

“Our group has stayed here 2 years and we have just loved every minute! The rooms and the views are amazing and the kitchen is well stocked. Erika and Chris make every effort so your stay is a most comfortable and relaxing time. We had 18 - 20 adults and 2 children and we felt like we had so much space! They also went out of their way to grade the road for our bikes and Chris' dad lined it with American Flags for the Veterans Rally. They made so many upgrades from year one to two we were very impressed!! We will be back - I can assure you of what special hosts they are. I highly recommend Alpine Vista Retreat - a must!”

“What a wonderful get away! Johanna & Costa thought of everything while planning this colorful cozy cottage community. The Sintra was spectacularly clean, charming and the perfect size for 2 guests. The beach buggy made the 5 minute walk to the beach an easy stroll and the beach chairs, grills, fire pit, picnic tables and outdoor shower made for the perfect shore getaway. We will be back!”

“Came to New York for a few days and wanted to do a few sights. Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend and my boat tour with another company was rained out the day before. I contacted NY Media Boat the following day since it cleared. They didn't have a scheduled tour, but created a schedule just for me to book. That was amazing customer service! I had a small group, so we used the small Coast Guard boat which was perfect as it was a very personal experience. Capt. Eric did a great job. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He never rushed us and allowed us to take as many pictures we wanted. He constantly was adjusting the boat for the perfect picture opportunities. It was the 30 minute tour, but was plenty of time to see the Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. I previously did a helicopter tour, but the boat tour allows you to be much closer with better photo opportunities. Capt. Eric and whoever was managing the schedules were both amazing. Next time I'll book a longer tour when I have more time. With the rain, I was short on time, but so glad I at least did the 30 min tour. Great fun and customer service.”

“Great location - just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to make multiple trips in a day (if needed). Found the number of separate bedrooms, number of beds, and size of beds very accommodating for 2 families with small children, as it allowed for a number of different sleeping arrangements. Dining area was large enough for a group, making happy breakfast memories. Kids also loved the toys and books hidden in the closets. Only downside is that the kitchen was a bit small and lacked any storage space for pantry-type groceries.”

“I happened to take a tour of a couple yachts on Sunday. They are all beautiful and reasonably priced. I met with Terry. He was very friendly and explained how everything works to get a boat scheduled. He introduced me to one of the guests and I was able to attend their yacht party spur of the moment. I had a great time. Captain Harvey made me feel safe as he explained the dos and don’t and what to do incase of an emergency. I am definitely going to book my yacht and request Captain Harvey.”

“After our son was diagnosed with Autism we researched various treatments to assist him in his growth in addition to the common therapies (ABA, OT, PT, SLP, etc.). We sought to find things that would not only help in improving his communication and physical needs, but will also bring joy to his day. We found Horses for Healing and today our son loves each session. Exiting the car he is skipping/running to the arena. He is not only having fun each time, Marcy and the wonderful/amazing volunteers work with him on horse safety, communication through interactive means, and improving his physical needs (gait, balance, etc.). The amount of pure happiness I see on his face each session and the growth he has made socially, expressive communication, and physically has been wonderful to see over the past 2 years. “We went out to Big Bear, CA this past spring break week for a getaway with some friends, and we reserved with Patriot Vacation Rentals. We stayed at TimberLodge, which was an amazingly beautiful cabin to stay in. Like REALLY nice.Extremely comfortable and cozy, and located in a perfect part of town. Everything we needed was no more than 5 minutes away, and we were able to relax and cook our meals as a group in a very spacious kitchen and just disconnect from our daily life for a little bit. Plenty of space for all the kids to run around, but not so much that we couldn’t keep our eye on them. We took our kids to the Big Bear Zoo, Alpine Slide, and just explored the area a little bit. Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby to enjoy.But the best part of our trip was the high-quality accommodations that we were given by the folks at Patriot Vacation Rentals. We’ll be back in Big Bear again in the late summer for a family reunion/getaway to reconnect, and we definitely plan to get back in contact with Patriot Vacation Rentals to help make that happen.”
