“We booked our tours online and when we showed up there was a glitch in the system and it didn’t transfer our reservation( group of 12 ). Chris was excellent to deal with. He helped us get it all figured out and then moved things around to be able to take our entire group on a tour. The trip was fantastic. Chris was very funny. Interacted with everyone in the group and shared tons of information with us. What could have been a nightmare ended up being a great adventure. Thank you Chris and Surf IT for the great time.”

“This year was the second time I have stayed at these cabins with a family of 27 adults and kids included. We rent out the entire place for a week...and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! The cabins are clean and you can walk a few minutes down to their dock and jump into the lake. The kids love it because they're in the water all day and some of them love to fish off the dock. They also have kayaks you can use (free)..so much fun!! There is a private beach with floats and chairs if you want to tan or just sit and read a book. They have a few fire pits so at night we all gather together and it's just a great time for the family. They have a basketball/tennis court set up, volleyball nets set up and a ping pong table. Cannot forget to mention the laundry room that you can use and is filled with board games to play! The place is not far from the grocery store and close to town. The owner and Christina who manage the place are very kind and willing to assist if you need anything. We will be back next year! Thank you Timberlane Cottages for having us!!”

“Gary took 8 of us on a private trip to Tallahassee from Jacksonville after hurricane Dorian forced our game to be moved. We had no way to get to Doak Stadium and were worried we may miss the game but Gary came through in a big way for us. He secured us a luxury 9 passenger van and arrived promptly at 7am so we could make the 2 1/2 hour trek to the game. The van was very clean and he was thoughtful enough to include coolers with ice and some cold drinks for us to enjoy on the ride. He also let us charge our cell phones and told us interesting stories about the Jacksonville and beyond area. We enjoyed his company so much that we insisted he join us for the entire game once we arrived to Tallahassee. I plan to bring my wife and son back to Jacksonville soon and when I do I will definitely be taking another Tour with Gary. He was without a doubt the best guide ever and really came through for our group. More than a guide I now consider him a friend. Thanks Gary! A+”

“The resort was beautiful and clean. The grounds were well manicured and the beach was clean. They offered daytime and night time activities. There were at least 2 shows each night. The food was delicious, there are 7 restaurants and a food truck. The room was nice and clean, all the food and drink items in the room are yours to eat and drink and they will restock them daily. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly and tentative to our needs. The drinks came in a variety and were strong. We will definitely be going back. The trip was relaxing and much needed. “If you want your child to become a true English equestrian rider and learn from 2 of the most dedicated horse women on the Northshore look no further! This facility's only interest is to make sure that horse and rider are a good fit and are safe.The camps are not about arts and crafts, swimming, or watching videos just to fill camp time. The children are not on the horse for just an hour. Thare there to learn how to ride and take care of that horse. There is constant supervision and all riders are required to wear helmets and paddock boots. If you don't own them they do loan the student the gear. The facility is maintained by only these 2 ladies and each horse has a unique bond with them. There is over 40 years of experience between these ladies as it shows with the countless Champion Ribbons that they have each earned in competition. This facility has taken my 13 year old from this insecure, non focused, self doubting teenager, to a secure, responsible young lady! So much so that at her first Horse Show on April 8, 2017 she won a Champion Ribbon herself. If you are not serious about horses then maybe this is not the place for you. I personally take GREAT offense to Mr. Yost's pompous review as this facility has truly change my child's life for the better and in turn makes me a better parent! Thank you.”

“Highly recommend! We (my 8 year old daughter and I) board two horses at Kismet Farm and take multiple riding lessons a week. Kismet has been our “second home” for the last three years. (I’m not sure what we would’ve done during Covid quarantine days if we couldn’t escape to the barn.) We absolutely love our time at Kismet and know that our horses are always well cared for when we are away. Kismet is extremely welcoming and laidback—none of that stuffy horse-people stuff! The owner, Kate, is knowledgeable, kind, extremely dependable, and keeps in constant communication with boarders about their horses. She’s out there first thing in the morning making sure everyone is happy, healthy, fed, and where they need to be…even on the coldest and hottest of days! She coordinates appointments with the farrier as well as the vet for our two boys making my life so much easier. She knows all there is to know about these horses and immediately knows if something seems a little off. She really is the best! Not only do they take amazing care of the horses, Kismet is a gorgeous facility located on 50 acres. The outdoor ring is huge, there’s a small ring for my young daughter and her small pony, they have great trails on the property, and the views are pretty spectacular. We are so lucky to be part of the Kismet Farm family!”
