“A year ago in 2021 we went on a last minute tour. Very informative and just great commentary. Beautiful town with rich history and a cool thing for me was seeing the old bullet holes from almost a century ago still in the walls. Just relax and walk around, it's a beautiful and quiet town with a great "haunted" history. Very cool and honestly I would do it again”

“Thank you to Cynthia & Big Country's Place staff! Our church, Christ Foundation Church in Waldorf, MD held our annual Community Festival on Saturday, August 21st. We normally use another company for our horses, but they were unavailable. I reached out to Cynthia & she assured me they could provide what we needed and more. We usually provide 2 ponies to ride for the children in the community. Cynthia brought 3 horses, so children & adults could ride. The adults had as much fun as the children! The staff was professional & courteous and the horses were gentle. I would recommend Big Country's Place for your next event!!”

“A very beautiful and well/kept condo. On the gulf so views are beautiful. Very comfortable beds and nice sheets. Sofa throw pillows were worn and could be replaced. Could’ve used a luggage cart and think Plumlee provided one towards the end of our stay. Plumlee responds promptly to any requests from guests. Close to wonderful restaurants that you can just walk to. Overall a perfect stay.”

“The Lido Islander is the best kept secret on Lido. It has a great location; everything you need is within walking distance. It is only a block away from the beach. We enjoyed the low key, laid back vibe of the place. The decor is tasteful and has an art deco feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. It is excellent value. “Cozy and charming, this log cabin home with great upgrades was perfect for our stay—and we’d like to come back! It’s an easily accessible single story nestled in with a few pine trees. Inside, comfortable seating and two wide screen TVs with a warm fireplace make living room hang time and get togethers very relaxing. Its bedrooms and two bathrooms are clean, roomy, and excellently maintained. Kitchen and dining room are well-appointed for group meal preparation and sharing. It’s well-stocked with necessities. We liked having quiet moments inside as well as adventurous explorations outside. This quaint vintage charmer is centrally located to nature walks, mountain slopes, and pontoon boating—not to mention the fun shops and yummy dining in Big Bear village! Big Bear has so much to offer in the way of fun for family and friends. Danny’s Den offers great digs for a memorable Big Bear vacation!”

“I can't begin to tell you how much we are enjoying being at Show Me Farm. We have been there almost three months. We board our large pony and my daughter takes lessons. We are pleased with our pony's care and never have to worry about him. He has received a ton of TLC especially during all of the horrible winter weather. My daughter is really enjoying her lessons and is learning so much. The barn and grounds are very well taken care of and there is a wonderful family atmosphere. The owner/trainer encourages discipline and ownership in the girls that ride/board there.”

“Michelle is such a great host and was super accommodating with an early check-in request. We loved the little guide book that they had in the house that gave great recommendations for nearby activities, groceries, and restaurants. The location is perfect with plenty to do nearby and is close enough to San Antonio for a day in the city. Even though there are multiple rental properties on-site, you still feel super secluded and can enjoy some quiet time. Our dog loved the house and running around the property taking in all the fresh air! The house itself is so clean with up-to-date appliances and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was perfect, I think we used it at least once every day of our stay! We love this place and will definitely be back many more times!!”
