“Been here 2x with my family and we love this place. It has a beautiful nature walk on the marsh with an amazing exhibit of the otters as part of the Marsh Exhibition. My only gripe is that SOME, not all, of the exhibits are a bit out dated. Regardless every exhibit was still fun and informative. We can't wait to go back again this summer.”

“The Review below wants to remain annoynmous due to profession. Temporary housing can be tricky, especially since most serious rentals are for six months or a year. Cozy Homes offer month-to-month rental options and it made all the difference to us. We needed something decent, but couldn’t be tied into an exact timeline. We struggled to find a good fit for us in a smaller town like Lubbock , but feel lucky we came across Cozy Homes. Their housing was cute and clean, and that’s because it is carefully maintained by the full-time, hands-on family business. The units are all fully furnished and supplied with everything we needed to continue our lives as if we were home. They also welcomed our dogs like they were their own, and there was a big property for them to play on and explore. The owners were never further away than a step outside the door and promptly responded to all concerns and unforeseen issues. They really wanted us to be comfortable and made sure we lacked nothing. Everybody was so happy, warm and welcoming, it felt like we were visiting people we’ve known forever. Thank you Brian, Dawn and Tess for making our stay easy and fun. “Victor and Royal Limo were an AMAZING addition to our wedding! We opted to invest in a really special vehicle (the white, 1965 Rolls Royce Princess) and let me tell you - it was the talk of the entire wedding! We created a whole "photo opp" with the car on the lawn during the wedding – we had a flower arrangement, ferns, and a sign made to complete the look – and used the car against a backdrop of fireworks for our "getaway". It was spectacular!! Billy was our driver and he was fantastic. He dressed the part, was helpful, cordial, and very professional. He listened to our vision for the getaway timing, and was careful that our departure matched up with the fireworks and guest sparklers. Highly recommend!!”

“My family stayed this past Summer and to keep it short - it did not disappoint! From dolphin watching every morning off the top balcony to star gazing at night in the hot tub - every moment was incredible. The wild horses even came into the yard and garage, which was extraordinary to observe. The kids had fun in the pool and at the beach. We stayed with 5 other families and never once felt crowded. With the 3 floors, there was enough space to have time to yourself, if you wanted. The home was clean, kid friendly, spacious and a VERY short walk to the beach. We will be making it our yearly vacation spot!”

“My wife and I attended a sales presentation and were very satisfied with our experience. Obviously their goal is to make a sale, but they weren't aggressive and were incredibly friendly. We decided at the end of the presentation that it wasn't the right time for us to purchase their membership, and they were completely understanding and still professional and friendly. It was nothing like the aggressive, rude sales tactics I've had people tell me they experienced with similar companies. I do question the savings they advertise that you receive as a member. Looking at some of the reservation fees and costs/night - most of the deals seemed pretty similar to what we've seen through travel agents and travel websites (and those services don't require the membership or annual fee). GEVC will have more savings, but you're also paying more. Overall, if my wife and I had more disposable income and more PTO, we would have paid to be a member because in the long run we felt the program would have paid for itself and it would have made vacationing easier. We just opted not to join because we were afraid we would be getting a membership and not be able to use it consistently enough to get our money's worth. For the limited amount of vacationing we currently do we can meet those needs with travel agents. I'd recommend the experience to anyone who has 2 hours to spare. You get a few decent vouchers and gifts with no strings attached and (Free Rangers tickets, a dining card, etc.) and just maybe their service will fit your needs.”
